The Imperial Guards manga was a runner-up in the 9th Japanese Media Arts Awards, the 11th Tezuka Cultural Prize, and the 1st Manga Taisho Awards.

If anyone has any time to spare towards this series, I'd be very thankful for i am very interested in this manga and undoubtedly this manga will have its share of fans and followers. First chapter of this manga already had been translated but due to some circuimstances the translator quit translating mangas for about a year ago so you can check it out to see if it's an interesting project to you.
