Episodes 14 and 15
- That race had me on the edge of my seat during the whole time!! The race was incredibly exciting. Takumi s amazing! I was so glad that he defeated that horrible guy.

- Angry Takumi is hot. When he is angry, he becomes more determined and I really liked that side of him.

episode 16 sooo funny and soooo sad

I agree. During the first half of the episode I was happy for Iketani but I knew something was going to happen that was going to break his heart and when it finally happened…it was so heartrending. Iketani is such a good guy, he didn’t deserve to have his heart broken like that.

About Mako…I thought she was cool but I kind of changed my mind at the end of the episode, to be specific it was during her conversation with Iketani. However, I still think she is a great driver. About Mako’s friend, she doesn’t seem very nice but she must very intelligent since she seems to be the one behind Mako’s incredible driving skills.

Mako and Iketaini situation was fun to see and sad at the end. However, Mako chan waited for hom a long time - it was a shame that he didnt have the confidence to go and when he finally did he was hit up traffic. .

That was really sad for me - that single tear... said a lot and also Mako chans dounot as she left.
The store owner - forgets his name was really right on. Well, three was a lot of emotions on this one...

As for other other race - it was interesting to see Takumi get serious and how he went around him avoiding a crash by drifting.
OT but I fell a sleep watching and woke up to the dubs on season two - funimations youtube channnle xDDD/

It was very frustrating watching Itsuki interrupt Iketani just when Iketani was about to get close to Mako-chan and maybe even admit his feelings for her.

Episode 20 was very sad, I agree. Watching both Iketani and Mako crying at the end of the episode was so painful.

Where are cell phones when you need them?! Unfortunately for Iketani he couldn’t use a cell phone to call Mako-chan and tell her he was on his way. Instead of that Mako thought Iketani had stood her up.

Mako had a crush on Ryousuke but the one she fell in love with was Iketani…the Mako x Iketani relationship had a very sad ending. I really hope Iketani has a chance to explain what really happened to Mako in the future.

Well…I haven’t watched all the stages of Initial D but according to wiki, Mako isn’t the only female driver. Btw, I really hope episode 20 isn’t the last that we see of Mako-chan, I really hope she appears in the other stages.

Since you were a bit quiet during this week I thought you had already started stage 2. I wasn’t waiting for a post from you saying you had already finished stage 2. I need to watch 3 or 4 more eps before I finish stage 1 but I guess you’ll finish stage 2 over the weekend.
