It is awesome and tasty looking. Looks like bacon, rice, potatoes, and some unidentifiable white stuff.

I haven't gotten that far yet, I'm still finishing up season one. I used to read the manga, and actually watched about half of the original anime as it aired. I never finished, and somehow did not think to catch up before the new season started. I should be caught up in time for episode six. Misaka is basically my favorite character ever, I had forgot how epic she is. I did watch season one of Index as it aired, I can't remember if I ever finished, it aired before I joined MAL. Railgun will always be better than Index.

Railgun is better just because of Misaka?
Though I agree. She is outstanding!

You should watch Index I, Index II and Railgun I though... Otherwise some things might be unclear to you.

Yes, Misaka is a more interesting main character than Touma and Index. Index's plot also is more convoluted, and less interesting. I've seen (and read) enough of Index that everything in Railgun is clear enough. I may eventually rewatch Index season 1, and then watch season 2 sometime.

That also does not change for the rest of the light novels to be honest. Index is more like a pet, as long her master is around and feeds her, everything is good.

She's the archetypical damsel in distress, helpless female character. Touma himself is pretty annoying, such a stereotypical manga/anime/LN hero. No talent, low ambition guy, but secretly hard working, thrust into combat against his will, over his head, only to try his hardest to protect what he cares about, succeed through hard work superhero. He's not that different from Naruto, without the gay. Instead of the kyuubi, he has his negation power.

Well don't forget his Imagine breaker... I doubt he will ever get a power up so he is way better than Naruto.

I think... I need a new anime. Watching SnK and afterwards reading it made me crave more epic stories, finally. I think I'm in the mood for action/drama of a sort. Something that perhaps gives a similar "feeling" to what you get from reading/watching SnK. Anything come to mind?
