Anybody following Re:_Hamatora? The first episode made me seriously surprised with the whole depressed atmosphere about Nice's death, only to see that ending. And how everyone looked so relieved to be able to "stop pretending". I am not a big fan of a good person in first season to be twisted and becomes the villain in the second season, but fingers crossed for a hopefully decent explanation. Including the situation with Nice.
Not a bad start with the second season, let's rock the plot!
Couldn't have said it better than you, at the beginning of the episode I was like "That's so depressing...", while towards the end I was like "WTF?!". XD
Glad that Nice is still alive, but I can't say the same about Art being the bad guy....
I wonder what has gotten into him though...
Personally I didn't believed once that Nice was dead.
The series is still that weird. Hopefully it will be better than the 1st season, Hajime talked a lot, that's a good start .
Like Demonspeed, I didn't believe that Nice is dead. When Art is the main villain this season, there's no way the creators will pass a chance for Art vs. Nice. I still can't believe that Art is the villain though... Why??
I have a feeling Moral had something to do with this...
Anyway, I still feel that this series lacks something. As if I can't quite connect with the characters and the stories.
Haha, technically we all know Nice couldn't be dead since he's the main protagonist, but spending 4/5 part of an episode grieving over his death looks so weird that it almost assured me Nice was really dead, lol. Hajime is so awesome taking over Nice's position like that! She should've done so sooner~ What lacks at the moment is probably the connection of characters to the main plot. Aside from the duo Hamatora, the others feel more like decoration or additional team members with not-so-clear background as to why they need to stick around. Maybe...?
About Art, we saw him dead, no? Like, dead dead? Then Moral replaced him. But turned out he was alive. I wonder if that is his Minimum? And you would also wonder what happened to him to change his ideal completely different from before.
I always thought he'd be alive, the pr for the series, visuals, and fest etc all suggested that they werent really trying to hide it. But then people who said they dont follow these things said they were surprised, so I guess it depended on how deep one was in the fandom.
Great first episode, I just miss all the multicolours when they use their minimum holder abilities.
What is happening in this show?
Art is acting like a criminal and can still work as a policeman? Nice's group is not even trying to capture him or something, just observe him? For 3 months. Moreover he is acting like a hypocrite and stealing the powers of other Minimum Holders. Can't wait to hear his good reason
I can't believe some of them thought the children were dead, they didn't even inspect their bodies .
I find ironic the fact that Art is taking away Minimums from the people in order to kill Nice, while Moral, despite doing the same thing, only wanted to be on Nice's same plane...
Either way, it wasn't a bad episode, but I think that this season's plot is a bit....messy....
I do hope that I'm wrong though.
I agree that 'messy' is the right word. I don't exactly enjoy the way the plot is presented; Art is very strange we didn't even get hints. The sibling, maybe. But nothing more. And the way the scene shifts from one place/character(s) to a new one is starting to get on me. I will see this to the end because I've seen the first season, but I hope it gets fixed soon.
