I laugh every time the author calls Mito a "meat master."

Souma's meat had it's price cut, hilarious.

Given how much money he had available it's not surprising he bought it. In that aspect, he actually remind's me of Gintoki or Saitama from Onepunch-man - and if his father going to be too busy to send him some funds, then I suppose Souma is going to maintain the "cheap things are the best'' attitude .

His don is so awesome Mito had a foodgasm just from the smell. Next week will probably be reactions galore, then the judge results the week after.

What I liked even more than that was the way Souma behaved during the cooking part of the Shokugeki - professional all the way, as you would expect of an experienced chef. But yeah, in the next chapter we will surely get another, more intense reaction from Ikumi ( possibly from the judges too )

Yeah, limiting him to don limits his cooking greatly. It would be just putting limitors on a possible great way to tell the story.

Pretty chapter, the food are mouth-watering. Not really familiar with culinary stuff but the explanations sound convincing, lol.

The foods are mouth-watering, indeed. It seems that as the story progresses, the visual display of the dishes itself is getting richer - knowing the fact that the author is also working with culinary adviser, that's a good impact.

Nice chapter - Ikumi's reactions were the best , especially the one when she was so flustered by Souma complimenting her And little Ikumi is so cute

Also, Souma is staying true to his words at the entrance ceremony - given how he trolled the Don RS , the school really is just a stepping stone for him .
