And fucking hell, I could NOT take grumpy prodigious asshole Yukio seriously with lipstick and a WIG.

This chapter was glorious. Mephisto doing some cool stuff, ducks, Izumo and Shiemi getting precious screentime, a convo between Yukio and Rin over a meal, this chapter HAD IT ALL.

Oooh, the illuminati...how ominous. I find Toudou and his freckles to be irksome. Mephisto is so cool with his powers stopping time and what not. I couldn't help but notice that the fox spirits look more noticeably individual.

Woohooo, I've been waiting for Illuminati to show up in a manga! I wonder what and how much of a role they'll play in this series... Or maybe Lightning just threw it out there, and he's just another crazy conspiracy theorist?

Todou's appearance and Yukio & Co in drag made my day

I'm pretty happy since the Illuminati provides a convenient reason why Toudou could just disappear around a worldwide organization like the Order. Plus, makes sense that the Order has a competitor. Ties up the lose ends nicely.

Also, Rin and Yukio have a cute moment at the beginning of the chapter. That made me go "aww" so much.

Until Izumo gets her summoned demon's sympathies, I think she has to fight alongside Shiemi. They both can do a lot when teamed up.

My interest was piqued on why Yukio responded to Rin at the beginning of the chapter "must be nice to see the world so simply".

Begs the question: did Yukio know of the eyewash? Did Shiro? If Shiro did, then why didn't he help out Yukio that way? Training your kid to be a soldier is not a flippant choice. Or maybe it never worked for Yukio because Yukio is part demon? Or maybe it's just an unethically developed solution? So many possibilities!

Wow, as boring as this chapter started out, I didn't think it could be that hillarious (the drag, what else) and awesome (illuminati and the all-time favorite Mephisto showing off his power).

If anyone's interested, the german used in the scanlation is quite a bit off. The Katakana (e-ru-su-to-fu-ve-n ?) could in the given context mean "Erstoppen", which is not standard german either though. How big are the chances to ever find out what was intended?

not like it matters much, so far she's giving off a better impression than other mangaka with a love for using butchering foreign languages *cough*Kubo*cough*

about the Illuminati, they're depicted as (part of) the dark side once again, which is pretty tiring imo. That's only the first impression though, after all demons can preside over exorcist schools in this tale, it's going to be interesting to read where it's going.
