Can't argue with that. I generally can't stick to my generation or even the next one when it comes to these sort of things
My skills are only applicable to those long battles of ideas about certain concepts, in which I rarely lose my ground.

This came right after I listened to my depressive soundtrack from Shiki for like the 25th time this morning.

Good observation. I tried to become a true evil for years that cares about nothing, then gave up and tried to be naive to love everything, and in the end, here I am, stuck between the two
I used to be evil too... (For everyone who thinks that I am still evil even now, you haven't seen me back then! It was worse!) But somehow, I didn't realize how evil I was. I only realized after I repented. Oh well, in Carl Jung's term, I've started to confront instead to suppress my Shadow.

Shame I can't be like that. That's a good thing, enjoying the moment, I mean. It helps you love the life you have. For others like me, it's like trying to take a step forward and turn back around to see what is behind at the same moment. You twist your mind. With every new twist, your sight weakens, to the degree that you neither sense what is behind nor have an idea what is ahead. Dizziness is what you have left with in present.
Taking things for granted is indeed easy, but taking everything for granted is void and agony itself.

Speaking of books, I strongly recommend everyone to read Kazantzakis' Zorba the Greek
Uh, I don't think I'll read those. Not my cup of tea.
Well, it's different for every people. Not everyone is able to live the moment. I'm only able to do this after I've known regret, and even until today, I still have to reflect on myself everyday to be able to keep it like that.
Indeed. I try not to take things for granted; I already experienced the outcome of that and it has left a scar that I think will never heal completely. :/

Until I realized I moved the spoiler archive right back into the Bleach subforum as a sticky, I thought it looked somewhat okay.
    Yeah, somewhat.

Since you can never go kill off your ego, or separate your self from it entirely, you need to embrace it.
I guess as long as you do embrace, being evil is also acceptable
    Okay, okay..
It may not be that much acceptable

Unless you are really interested in the political issues going on in a Russian village and a main character with really limited comprehension ability of what's going on, I'm not recommending them (=
Scars do heal, but when that doesn't necessarily make you a merrier person. You may even be sad to see that something that had such a deep effect withered away in the end without a trace of existence behind.

I see, someone listened to me . Nice to see you have a thread of your own. Lets start with Bleach, obviously:

    Your favorite male character(s)?
    Your favorite female character(s)?
    Your favorite female antagonist?
    Your favorite male antagonist?

You can do the opposite and just post a laughter

    Bleach.
More than two years ago, I watched pilot episode, taught this anime was trash (Shinigami concept didn't look appealing at that moment), and picked it up two years later to rush through the rest in a month or so.

My favorite male characters are Gin, Byakuya and Ukitake.
My favorite female characters. Um, don't know, really. Female characters are fewer, after all. Rukia and Soifon, it seems to be.
One of the female Arrancar.. Never really liked Haribel, but my favorite must be Sung-sun and her teasing attitude.
Gin was an antagonist, so, he can actually also be called my favorite male antagonist, but I already favored her as character, so, I'll go with Ulquiorra for now, though it may change if we get to see more of Haschwald. He's my current favorite.

Right. I've learned that the more you suppress your evil urge, the more evil you become.
I guess my friends will disagree with you. They've gone as far to call me "Evilday", "the terror", even putting "The" in front of my name. Not that I mind. Sometimes evil reputation is good. No one dares to mess with you.

    Nah, Chekov is enough.
I guess it's better that the scar stays, otherwise I'll never remember not to make the same mistake again.

    Exactly.
Ah, never met a true evil in my life. Only befriended a couple of people that turns the evil's red aura once in a while.
But I have to say I really admired you for going as far as "terror". That's some feat now

My reading taste is a mess at times, so, it's wise to stay away from my opinions, anyway
So, can you keep the things always in check retrospectively? I generally overdo it whenever I try.
