    の巻

Hey, so I was wondering if someone can help me out with something simple. For the life of me I can't work out what 'no maki' (の巻) means in the context of these Harenchi Gakuen chapter titles, and was hoping someone could clear it up for me. I'm getting anything from 'location of' to 'scroll of' and I'm pretty confused.

    Examples:
    授業参観日の巻
    (day classes no maki? Maybe?)

    逆襲ヒゲゴジラの巻
(Bearded Godzilla's Counterattack no maki? I think?)

    Latest: Hoshin Engi WaqWaq

NEW: FEV, Written Down: Smoky B.B. & Baseball Comics PART TWO

When it is not actually a book or volume title, you could translate it as "Story/Episode of ~."

授業参観 (parents' day link ) is like a school open house for parents at their children's classroom.
