Gravitation EX The Project

Hello!

I am here trying to recruit people for a Gravitation EX scanlation group. The related materials (including the untranslated remixes, megamixes and HELP!) are also possible projects for the future.

There are currently around 6 chapters of Gravitation EX that need a true scanlation treatment. The 'releases' that are currently out there are atrociously mistranslated, poorly edited in MS Paint, and are just basically unreadable.

So, I'd like to start from scratch. I'm recruiting any positions that I can. I've been an editor/cleaner and typesetter for multiple groups over the years, and I'm also currently in grad school for Japanese linguistics. I own the tankobon of Gravitation EX vol. 2, and I can easily scan that. However, I do not want to bend up my copy until I know this project is actually happening! So, until then I only have the very low quality raws that came from Gentosha. By the way, having a new JPN>ENG translator would especially be nice, as translation is a very slow process for me personally. I would be more than willing to share the workload.

To sate your appetite, I'm including the first few pages of Track 71 that I did myself, which is where the official Tokyopop release died. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope I can say that there is more to come soon! Download it here from my server.

If only I still had my software installed to do this. When I can, I will see if its possible for me, since i have no idea If I can or not.
