The list is still short, but it already seems like a promising season to me. I already have 4 animes in mind, planned to give a try, just with that short list. XD

    Here's a more detailed chart:

All I can say that this most likely will be an improvement compared to the winter season. I'm dying for Shingeki and Aku no Hana alone so this definitely will be pure win

Current picks of Spring 2013 : Shingeki no Kyoujin, Aku no Hana, and Gargantia (Gen Urobuchi, FTW!)... I hope there would be another unexpected hit from Spring season.

I do hope that SnK gets a descent animation. Such a distinct art style must be captured in it's entirety. The spring season is a lot better than the winter one. I do hope for more original works though, they have been lacking in those for a while now.

True that, I hope he can maintain the quality of his last series. Will definitely check out Gargantia even though I'm not that big of a mecha fan.

Re: Spring Anime 2013 Preview Guide

Spring season looks amazing, can't ever remember seeing as loaded a season. A WataMote anime has been announced too, though it has not been officially scheduled for spring. My list, so far:
    • Aku no Hana
    • Shingeki
    • Gargantia
    • Yahari
    • Valvrave
Gargantia is the series I am most interested in. Production I.G animating an original by Orobuchi Gen is a very exciting prospect. Valvrave too, new Sunrise mecha can not be ignored.

I will also give these shows a chance, if PV's are good enough:
    • Date A Live
    • RDG
    • Photo Kano
A lot depends on what else is announced.

Devil Survivor, Yahari, and Higurashi look like things I'll check out.

Karneval, Aku no Hana, and Galgantia might be worth taking a look at too.

I love Shingeki and all, but it's a little too early IMO and I'd like to watch it when they inevitably remake it once the manga ends, rather then see them come up with some crazy alternate story like with the first FMA.

Re: Spring Anime 2013 Preview Guide

I've known that Karneval is going to be made into anime and I've seen the trailer, but only now I know that it will aired in spring! I'm excited!
For now, Karneval is the only anime from the chart that interests me. I hope I'll have more to add later...

Re: Spring Anime 2013 Preview Guide

Aku no Hana sounds a bit scary? XDD But rather interesting. I wonder if it will turn a bit 'psycho' like with Mirai Nikki. Probably will try Shingeki no Kyoujin as well since I didn't manage to check the manga yet (sorry to those who recommended it to me v__v). Karneval looks quite good. That Dansai Buri is rather strange... I like that kind of survival game but the whole thing about hair and cutting it down makes me hesitate. Anyone saw the first season of Devil Survivor? Just wondering if the series is good. And Galgantia, of course.

I think this spring is definitely more promising than the previous season. Hopefully those looking-good titles will stay good till the end!

Re: Spring Anime 2013 Preview Guide

There wasn't a first season of Devil survivor since it's adapted from a game much like Persona 3 and 4, I agree that spring really looks awesome this year, I found at least 9 titles I want to follow which are the six you wrote above, Valvrave, Arata Kangatariand even though it's not confirmed yet for this season but I bet it will, KnB season 2.

Nakamura is very psycho. By the end of episode one it will be clear how evil a person she is. Aku no Hana is more realistic though than Mirai Nikki, Nakamura could be a real person, making her seem even more evil.
