Shutara looks like to be the information gatherer type...so she might deliver important information about the Quincy, about how to fight them or something like this....as for Bonze...I have no idea...he looked to be in charge, so perhaps he will just escort them to the Soul King or something...

You are right about Unohana and her inner beast so to say...personally I'm hoping for exactly that power of composure and self control when I'm hoping for both to be alive at the end of their fight...

You actually reminded me of how I originally wanted to connect the story threads in this chapter...Kenpachi will have to eventually go through some changes as well, and I'm looking forward to what that could actually be...if the rumour is true and Yachiru is his zanpaktou spirit, then it will be interesting to see these changes
About the next chapter....I'm thinking that Ichigo and Renji will occupy it entirely...certain side plots are important and all that, but it's still their story line that has the most importance and thus, the need to advance...I wonder if Kubo will ever show Byakuya and Rukia in the King's Realm...
This would mean that an Asauchi (her Zanpakuto) had adapted to Yahiru's power, which had adapted to Kenpachi's (as Yachiru would also have had to start as an Asauchi - also what about Kenpachi's blade that he used at that time?!??!).
Interesting - but possible?
And to be honest, a Zanpaktou spirit should mirror the personality of the Shinigami, and that's another telling point
