    Shoujo/Josei for Beginners!

    Yoho!

Let's use this thread to promote more shoujo/josei series to those who have never tried both demographics yet. What do you guys want to recommend for boys who never tried shoujo and josei, or for fans of shounen/seinen who probably want to try some shoujo/josei? What kind of series will be interesting for them, and why?

For you guys who want to try some shoujo/josei titles, feel free to let us know what kind of story you're looking for. <3

I was wondering what title I could suggest in this thread, when for some reason, I finally decided to start Nodame Cantabile. And after 4 volumes (waiting for more), I'm pretty sure it would fit perfectly. The art is not to girlish and the story very fun with lovely crazy characters. The love story doesn't take to much place so I don't see how boys would not enjoy it too.

Perhaps I'm too much a shoujo fan, then? First time I checked Nodame's manga and anime, I didn't really like the artwork because I thought it was strange, lol. But I agree that the plot is good (based on what I see from the live action movies).

Yes ther art is simple for a shojo but they are still some shoujo gimmick like the aparte.
There are quite few title that i can think of with simple art, Gokusen (which is very shonenish) or Apollon (but it may not be everybody taste)

I really like those filled with romance like Nana. Could you give me some sugestions?

Let's see.. What do you think of Kaichou wa Maid-sama or Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, if you haven't read any of them?
