Merlot or some Rioja for me. I normally have Pinot Grigio or Savignon Blanc for whites, but there's this one I had at an italian restaurant once just over a year ago, quite sweet and so very nice; just can't remember the name.
    First, learn to quote properly.

Of course it does. Usually I find some good Cachaca, but not always. I was introduced to it by some Brazilians in Germany, but most of the Caipis I had there were kind of poor.

    Perhaps it was a Riesling.

Very rare for someone to correct my quoting skills

I'm trying to remember the name of the one the bar uses, their online menu isn't working; think they're site is going through some updates. Caipis in Germany? Okay let's not stereotype, else UK would be in the same boat. I would've thought now you'd be able to find some good ones in the States. Besides this, do you have another cocktail you like? Daquiris are usually nice.

Maybe....I'll try and ask my friends later.

Yeah got to meet some mods too, so that was nice.

Yeah it really does. My instructor tries to be encouraging and positive, bless him but sometimes you just don't wanna hear it cos it sounds patronising lol.

Well, it happens once in a while that you forget to put a [/quote] tag at the end.

It was in a Brazilian bar, actually. I had a Caipi in London as well, near Soho, actually, but it sucked and was way overpriced.

I've never actually looked for a Caipi in the US. Next time I'm out, I'll find out.

Not really. I'll drink a Cuba Libre, but it's pretty tasteless.

There are both sweet and dry Rieslings.

Back when I was learning to drive, my mom taught me how to parallel park. It's bad enough when it's a driving instructor, but when one of your parents is on your case about it, it's awful.

When were you in London? Yes, prices here are ridiculous lol, such a ripoff. At my usual place here, they used to do 2 for 1 cocktails on mondays from 6-11pm; so me and my friends used to go every Monday for months lol. We concluded that they changed it because of us.

That's Rum and Coke, right? IF I'm having rum, I most always have dark rum. :

Ahhh found it, turns out it was a sparkling white wine called Moscato D'asti; but it was very nice, though I don't often drink sparkling wines.

Well I guess. We didn't hang for as long as we initially planned because of other plans, so we'll do it again soon.

I remember that when my dad would teach my sister bay parking and I tagged along; hilarious stuff!

Did you like how I trolled you there? I'm assuming you intended to quote the whole thing, but me putting the [*/quote] got you to only quote part of it. :P

I was there for five days in March 2012.

I expected to pay like five pounds for a Caipi at this place, I ordered it and then saw that it was like 9.50. I was like wtf?

    That sucks, man.

Touché . I fixed it though. This will teach me to always check back my posts after confirming them. And the funny thing is, I knew that having the [/quote] misplaced would put me off.

How did you like the city? besides the extortionate prices for drinks and other things?

If you ever get the chance to find it and try, do so. I'd be curious to know what you make of it.

No actually, the only british mod besides me is Bugzee. It was Matzik1212 and Teeba, who are Romanian and Pakistani respectively.

I dunno who I felt sorry for more; for a while there I swear she wanted to push him out of the car. LOL.

Apart from the outrageous prices, I liked it. I was a bit disappointed with the Millennium Bridge. I stayed in a hostel off Great Portland Street about five minutes north of Oxford Street.

Oh, I see. Do Matzik and Teeba live in England or were they just in the country visiting?

That's really close. I've been around Great Portland Street on my last few visits to London, even on Thursday. I've never stopped over at Millenium Bridge, passing over it. You should've gone to see the O2 and taken one of the boats across the Thames.

His army of llamas? I don't remember the members . He's still around, but you don't visit the Portuguese thread or Fun Forum.

I took a ferry up and down the Thames, actually. I didn't walk over the Millennium Bridge, only looked at it. I didn't pay 40 pounds to go sit on the London Eye, either.

I feel pressure to remain well behaved. Let's see how long this lasts before I get the urge to act out. How's your weekend going?

    Just him and the llama/alpaca?

Oh right, I got you. It's £26 to do it now. Either way, it's wasted on someone with a fear of heights
