I was reading over the chapter where Orochimaru was fighting Jiraiya and Tsunade and I thought about something, is Orochimaru a jinchuuriki because his summoning looks like the eight tailed bijuu. Could he have learned to harness the power of the bijuu and actually summon it. He probably got it when he joined Akatsuki and learned to control it. Can you help me with this.....PLEASE

isnt manda a "usual" summon? i dont think he got a bijuu. Btw arent Jinchuurikis usually sealed into the body like naruto/gaara...because i doubt that you can extract(summon) it and then easily control it...

i would say more or less he isnt human sorta like kisame hes probably a humanoid like demon or something beacuse ever since he was a little kid .... he had that werid ass aperience like a snake.... maybe hes an incarnate of a snake demon o-o? like the phonix and the uchiha >.> who knows u could go on and on over stuff like this

oro's summoning technique is like jiraya's one, they can summon a wide variety of snakes/toad and they both have that "king" summon, which is manta for oro and gamabunta for jiraya.

No point in having a regular snake like the three snakes he summoned just a few minutes before...i think manta is just plain cool!

Afer I read your theory, I thought: no, definitely not true

Well, it is not like you can 'summon' the bijuu which is sealed within you. If you are a Jinchuuriki the bijuu is sealed within you and in I think all of the cases (well, in the case of naruto and gaara) you can use the power of the bijuu (gaara sand, naruto the nine tails chakra when angry). If the bijuu comes out (like when gaara TRANSFORMED into Shukaku) the owner is transformed into it. Gaara was I think a special case (when he came out and did his fake sleep no jutsu), but normally you'll lose control, so it is Impossible that Manda is a bijuu which is sealed inside Oro.

What I DO think is that Orochimaru has something (maybe a bijuu) inside of him which allows himself to regenerate whenever he is split in half (read: the fight between orochimaru and 4 tails kyuubi Naruto).

thats not nessairly true though so far we have only seen 2 out of 9 jinchuruukis one was thogut to be the demon himself the other was raised to be a killing machine then dumped half way through the project leaving both of them emotionaly confused for all we know maybe in another village one was sealed away into them and they were seen as a hero not a monster......... but yea sorry i dont think oro is a jinchu he has changed body's too many times if anything hes a fucking freaky demon thing alone himself

  If Oro is'nt the jinchuuriki of the eight tailed bijuu then who could it be. He seem's close enough to being it and who better to have a snoke locked in his body forever than Oro... It was a good guess though.

If he was a jinchuuriki he would be waaaaay stronger than that. And he wouldn't keep transfering into different bodies in that case.

i doubt oro is a jinchuukri. if he was i very much doubt he wud be afraid of itachi. itachi's good...but a jinchuukri with oro's talent is *almost* unstopable

If you read the actual legend of the 9 tailed beasts, it seems most likely that Oro would be one of them. But like others have pointed out he probably wouldn't be able to take the bijyuu with him when he did a body transfer. Also another point already stated, there is no way in hell he'd be afraid of Itachi if Oro was a Jinchuuriki, especially since the 8 tailed snake is the 2nd strongest of all the tailed beasts. That would mean with his high number of jutsus he'd be basically invincible only the real kyuubi would be able to beat him.
