New(ish) Layout, let us know what you think

I'm sorry, but it's horrible.
The bright pink is so gay and bright. Not good, and all the white hurts my eyes.
I loved the last one.

I do not like too much bright colors, and I considered MH's old look "serious", which made it easy to navigate and read, but the new one looks to much like the newish manga/anime communities around the net. I suppose it's just a matter of time to get used to this one, though :P

It's something to get used to, I like the design itself but I am not into bright colors (pink and white give me dark grey and very light grey - close to white).
I think when people get used to, you'll hear less complaints

I actually like the new forum outlay, it's a new look after having the old one for a long time.

Just one complaint though... The pink... xDD

Well, the main page looks nice, in terms of easy navigating. I'm okay with the pink-ness, really. But the forum is the problem. I miss the side-bar menu.

in response to the many comments here about disliking the colors, i'm sure they will re-implement themes...right? then you can just pick one you like.

But I agree that dark colors, and only a few at, that would make for a much more professional looking page. I like the forum re-arrangements tho, they make a lot more sense.

But I think there's a minor glitch:

Those 2 sections disappear when you're not logged in, just blank space... I've cleared my cookies and cache many times to see if it was a one-time thing, but no.

and the "Submit your reviews" still stays black when you go to the forums [if not logged in].

If you're not logged in, those two areas will show Google banner ads. It's black/blank if you have Google ads ad-blocked. The banner ads are there to replace popup ads.

The new site is great, good use of CSS here, but the only thing I think could be better is about the manga dropdown: it's in the dark area of the banner's logo, then I suggest to put it among the other item in the Navigation Menu; it's just some people(like me, hehe) didnt' see the mangas menus at first; in the previous design the manga menu was in the left corner, and even another suggestion: I believe the vertical manga menu is a good thing to put here again, it'll focus more on the manga, and the people will find more quickly that the dropdown, and will focus the mangas series

But The thing I'm really liked is how the site got less darker, the new set of colour are a great combination

And if you guys need some help, just let me know, I'll help for sure even if I don't use CSS often here, sometimes we need to create our own CSS without the designer
