this interview; bare in mind the date of the interview, the number of assistants may have changed by now. The art is definitely the main reason why I'm still reading Vagabond tbh. Inoue definitely has a unique style. I love the scenery details as much as the character designs/fighting panels. Awesome stuff.
There's also a really cool interview with Inoue and Oda! Check it out here. I thought some of you might like it.

Oh didn't even know that 298 and 299 were out before, been waiting a long time for those. Kojiro is funny as hell in 299 and the art is top notch as always. I absolutely love the first few pages of 300.
Yeah, 298, 299 and also today I see 300 on there.
I gave 298 and 299 a brief summary, as well as 300.
I have to apologize for keep using this guy, that guy and what not. As I am able to read Chinese, but I cannot read Japanese. So even though I can read the character's names in Chinese, I don't know how to translate it back into Japanese Hiragana.
It's really funny sometimes, in English, Kojiro's name is spelled "Sasaki Kojiro".
In Japanese, I believe it is written as "佐々木 小次郎"
In Chinese, it is written as "佐佐木 小次郎". Other than 1 letter, the two written forms are almost exactly identical. However, the pronunciation and meaning is a totally different thing though.

So, what website is keeping up with vagabond? are there any english scanlations out there? for 297-300?
ah, there are a few volumes of this manga sold out in germany..
I wonder if I should e-mail the publisher to ask if they Re-release them.
I really wonder if I really should try this manga out (>_<)
I think you should, Nagashiwa. If you're not sure about it, I take it you're not familiar with the mangaka's previous work "Slam Dunk" which personally I felt was also very good.
But this one, Vagabond, has got to be a masterpiece. I don't think you'll regret picking this up, if only you don't mind waiting so long for chapters to come out ^^
The latest scanlation I know is 296 by the NSN team. They did say they have the raws for 297++ and are working on them. NSN releases very good quality so I'm okay waiting.
the first 2 volumes will come tomorrow!! I really hope I will enjoy this manga!!
We will see ^^
For those who don't already know, Inoue has decided to delay the return and ending of Vagabond. this means Vagabond won't end until sometime next.
ah but I think the chapters remain the same, the story won't be extended or anything. Just a hiatus. So the series is still nearing its end, just not too soon.
You're probably right about him not adding any chapters, but simply delaying it because he has too. Though we can always hold out hope that while he's resting he comes up with some ideas to lengthen the story a little bit.
So the series is ending... I don't know how many chapters are left but it seems there is too little space for a Musashi-Kojiro duel (which I don't want to see :P). Hope Inoue caught Oda Disease and will take three times longer to finish his manga
