Hanaji-Scans lonely lonely thread

Uh... hi. This is manu. I like manga... a lot. I met a girl named yFANTgirl who also like manga a lot. She was doing Karin already as it was. Though we wanted to do a manga together and kinda didn't want to be called yFANTgirl anymore so we asked the Karin translator for a japanese word that would work well for our group and thats how we got named Hanaji-Scans. Hanaji means nosebleed, if you're familiar with Karin you'd understand his choice.

Besides just doing Karin we do weekly chapters with Believe of D.Grayman using Rikki-Tiki-Tavi's translations. Its a very fun project but hard nonetheless.

Another fun scan we've done is Abara, we wrapped up volume 1 and as soon as we catch on our typesetting we'll start volume 2 and hopefully have the series complete.

Mx0 was also an enjoyable project I picked up using fireburst's public translations. Though since Ossu seemed alive again its been dropped for the most part.

Shakugan no Shana is another project we are in the middle of dropping since another great group has picked it up and they have more staff to support that manga but it was fun while it lasted.

One manga that we don't plan on dropping anytime soon is Blood Alone. Its our second seinen being released at a quicker rate. I found a translator and asked yFANTgirl for a manga she wanted to scanlate and asked our translator how she liked it and now those two are cruising through the series ^^ Oh and a big thanks to xi0 for finding the hq raws.

Though with so many projects getting dropped early on I managed to have a lot of free time on my hands. So expect a new series from us within the next month. The manga is Ahiru no Sora and is a sports manga which is a nice change of pace of what we've been scanlating.

I want to congratulate you guys on doing such a terrific job of Blood Alone. A superb manga. Great atmostphere, very nice dialog (translation) and deep layers of the story.

Um we ask a lot of help from other people who aren't really memebers but are critical like hisshoubakerin and Srin Taur but mainstays are me, yFANTgirl, Yushi, Fieryeagle and Fireoz. Fireoz is going to help us release are newest manga Ahiru no Sora which is a sports manga.

Set-up... Um well nothing special. We ask translators and then ask some proofers and then me and yFANTgirl edit. We are going to do Karin, and Blood Alone definately and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm gonna continue to scanlate xP

Yushi, our Blood Alone translator's second choice was a chinese Shoujou so if she ever wants to translate another project or if we catch up to the recent Blood Alone chapters maybe.

Just want to post my thanks to Hanaji-Scans, Karin was one of the first mangas I started reading so I'm always looking forward to new releases. And I've started to really like Blood Alone now that I picked it up too! So thanks for the hard work on these projects.

Hey manu. Wanted to stop by and say thanks for the SnS chapters you've scanlated thus far. I kinda have a question to ask... I'm rather curious of who you meant when you say another group picked it up. I've only known this group and EvalPowar to make Shakugan no Shana as their project.

Well they haven't released any new chapters recently... and only have done the chapters we've done. I don't think they are dead... but I lost contact with the Shakugan no Shana translator whose translated for us.

Though we do have a none proofed script for chapter 11

I'm going to try to typeset this myself soon so we can release sooner and since I'm on vacation ^^
