Once they verify Yue, I wouldn't think it hard for them to figure out the imposter situation. They just need to have Chachamaru check out who has a badge in the current group. Though that raises the question of why they never picked up Yue's badge while she was working with the guard.

the image I posted is clear enough, in letter Negi sent to his sister just before summer vacation he says that he's been in Japan for almost half a year.. I don't know how their school's system works or how many exams they have in one semester, but what Negi said can't be misinterpreted..

and it looks like those Ariadne cadets can conjure their weapons on the spot.. I don't remember them being armed last chapter..

good luck to them (or anyone else) trying to take on Negi after he proved himself a match for Rakan..
is that guy that shows up with some armored guard escort gonna try his luck as well?

also the way Asuna got stripped like the rest of 'em (by Negi??), wouldn't the REAL Asuna resist that spell??

even Kotarou doesn't attack like that and he probably has better "claws"..

and as for Asuna.. I think that after Eva's training she was more in control of her ability and capable of resisting magic spells with more than just pure reaction..

anyway was it the sneeze that stripped tham or good old fashion exarmatio spell?
or maybe Negi learned the silent stripping technique from Rakan

Nah, Asuna can cancel the magic that is directed toward her, or even those not with her sword, but she cannot do anything if the magic aim at natural element, like air, i.e. she would get frozen in an ice cage (Eva), shredded/stripped by strong gust of wind (Negi), or even affect from explosion (Homura)

Also, it is speculated that although she can protect herself again spell, those around her (clothes, air, water...) can enjoy the protection of magic cancellation, thus still a perfect target for spell and other stuff
