Anyone else reading this? It's slow coming out of the box but it's a good read.

Been reading this for a little while. Wish the scans could come out a bit faster though.

Slow out of the box? Its kinda like a slow catcher trying to beat out an infield dribbler. The story only picks up after you get into the double digit volumes. There were a few times I nearly stopped reading it because it got boring and too predictable. Well, if you can make it past that (the catcher beats out the throw) then everything is fine from then on.

Haha, i'm not even that far in yet. I'm as far as the scans that are up here are.

Oh, well sorry about that. On the plus side, I didn't spoil anything... If anything there's more incentive to keep reading right.

And about the slow scans, I'll try to do something about that.

I don't think there are going to be too many people past chapter 13, but it's nice to know that the story picks up later.

Read all 13 chapters today, thought it was pretty good, still needs time for the story to pick up, and is it true this manga has 35 volumes?

There appears to be at least 22 volumes up on here.

Woah, I'm still wondering how this manga slipped under the scanlators radar and considering it's already 35 volumes in, I doubt a lot of scanlating groups will pick this up.

I have to apologise for the delay with releases on this one. It's like my pet project, myself and my (now retired) main cleaner at the time really liked the look of it and decided to pick it up despite Japan being very far ahead and also the very very very difficult cleans. It makes it hard to find a cleaner good enough and the fact that it's a seinen with so many volumes and specialist Karate terminology makes it hard to find a translator good or dedicated enough. At the moment we have finally found an awesome dedicated translator (we could ALWAYS use more), we have a skilled cleaner who is on study leave but will be back soon (I fear his fingers may start to bleed if he has to clean all 33 volumes alone) what we lack currently is a dedicated typesetter. It just sort of gets passed around to whoever is free.

I will say be on the lookout for a few releases soon (I hope no more than a week). We're also aiming to try and do something special over summer when we have more hands. It's one of those things that because it's so long to really tackle it organisation of (many) people is probably going to be the key, I'm hoping to get enough people on this project to really get that started.... Key word Hoping.

There is some pretty cool stuff in the early volumes I reckon, I have to disagree with Gomenasai, I can see there isn't much by way of big fights. But, the character intro arcs look really funny to me...

Chapter's 14, and 15 are up thanks to Crayola. I'll try to keep them coming once a week. If Crayola decides to keep it fine, if not, I'll still translate it and someone else can do the scanning.
