Discuss the epilogue here, and possibly predict future cameos of TRC characters in new Clamp manga? I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Mokona =)

Yay, for the second earring!

I actually liked that a lot better than I thought I would. I LOVE seeing the old Fai shining through again. I think we all missed him. I also love the handling of the Clones being gone, as well. I think it culminates what my opinion has been all along, very nicely: that it doesn't have to be a competition between the two pairs. I really love that harmonious feel between the two pairs that we're left with.

And can I just say, that Clamp returning to their normal fine-lined look instead of the thick shounen lines they adopted, is SO gorgeous? I'd grown to really love the THICK, bold, sharp lining they had adopted for the brunt of the story, but wow. Syaoran and Sakura--er, the Tsubasas, I mean--looked so beautiful!

Ok, now i'm pretty satisfied.

This epilogue was so well drawn that no mistake or plothole would spoil! Sakura and Syaoran are wonderful! Also Fay and Kuro-pon - and God knows how much I missed Fay acting like himself!

Concerning the plot, this chapter was good - but there are A LOT of unanswered questions 'bout Fei Wang, Clow and Yuko-san. I reckon these will be tackled in xxxHOLiC, anyways.

Lovely 40-page chapter, but...

if you didn't say it I woudn't recognize the katakana for tsubasa hahaha

This really did answer a lot of questions. What the prices Watanuki and Tsubasa(m) paid were for. It was so they could exist despite their parents' bodies disappearing. I now respect both of them even more; both want to have minimal impact with their existences, in their own ways.

No wonder the 'ending' was so abrupt... it wasn't really an ending at all. ^_^

It does suck some that Tsubasa(f) isn't coming with them, but at the same time, I'm ok with it and understand their reasonings. We got a confession for both couples now, and even Tsubasa(m) manning up at last and taking initiative.

I highly approve, hehe.

And yaaaaay for Kuro n Fai time.

I'm wondering now...... the "ending" is so open. For us fans, it's satisfying in that we can imagine any worlds we want for them to experience; their journey can continue in our hearts and our imaginations. That in itself is a great way for it to be.

But also, I'm feeling quite sure they'll pop up in the xxxHolic world at some point. Not guaranteed but quite sure.

And THEN.............. what if they show up in all of CLAMP's future works? What if these random world-travellers show up in Kobato? In any number of future stories as a mini-arc of seemingly random side characters? That'd be interesting.

Who knows? I won't go thinking it WILL happen, but that it might.

Guess we'll see what the future holds.

Thank you CLAMP, for a wonderful story, and for doing such justice to so many beloved characters. This ending is a great beginning.

Since this is the final chapter (and I've been silent throughout the ending) I thought I'd say something. I think this was a pretty good ending and was probably about the happiest ending we could have realistically expected. Sure, there are still a lot of unanswered questions, but they never explained the why Clow created the Clow Cards either, so we're probably supposed to just speculate about those or see if any of them are answered in Holic.

An interesting thing I noticed is that the whole looping thing keeps going even though the story is over. Most of the story took place within two paradoxes and even now they are continuing the journey.

Also, naming both of them Tsubasa gave even more depth to the title Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles. Tsubasa can refer to two characters, the wings that the Sakuras have (and by extension the feathers), and the seal of death that Fei Wong used. Reservoir can refer to the body of water in Clow/Tokyo, or it could refer to the feathers, which could be thought of as reservoirs of Sakura's memories. On a side note, because it had a colon in the title they could make another series called Tsubasa focusing on the same characters, a sequel probably.

One last somewhat comicall thought. I can just imagine everybody holding a parade everytime they comes back to Clow and Tsubasa/Syaoran never quite getting used to it.

I can't believe this story's over; it feels so surreal... Where are we all going to go after this? xD

Anyway, I'm glad that a lot of questions were finally answered...

But I probably won't be used to calling them "Tsubasa," haha. I'll probably still refer to them as the R!'s... Much simpler I think than Tsubasa (m/f). xD

This makes me more excited for xxxHolic... but oh, gosh. I'm sooo glad that they finally got to say, "I love you."
