Summary and Preview

Mio Lunacanta is a lively and bright girl who lives on a remote island with her guardian, Reki. Unbeknownst to her, there are many similar islands across the ocean; these islands are called “home.” Mio’s “home” is considered an “unreclaimed home,” meaning it has yet to be discovered.

It is the job of the “koumuin” or sailors to discover and study these unreclaimed homes. Sailors aren’t just mere explorers. They have special powers called “Jinx,” which can only be awaken by one's willpower.

One day, Mio meets a sailor, Sara, who tells her of other homes such as the “mermaid home” and “magic home.” Mio’s curiosity gets the best of her and she decides to become a sailor. Needless to say, Mio has Jinx still sleeping in her; she just doesn’t know how to use it yet. Sara brings Mio, somewhat reluctantly, to the Sailors Association to enroll into Sailors Training School.

Mio’s adventures begin as she meets other sailors and gets roped into fights! [6gatsu]
