Summary and Preview

Eating is great. Food eases hunger, drinks quench thirst. But what do you think of eating, well, anything? Gen seems to have encountered a girl that can eat anything. Yes, ANYTHING. Whether it be a cart, a suitcase, an air conditioner, a house, or even a human! The girl, Hiyosu, apparently can transform anything into food with her chopsticks, and she can throw up whatever she ate, but not in the same form as how it entered Hiyosu's mouth. This first phenomenon is witnessed by Metako, one of three punks who try to rob Gen of his money, and she eventually gives up after seeing Hiyosu consuming her friends. This is an odd yet humorous drama of food, Halcyon Lunch! [Mamo]
