Summary and Preview

Terunobu Sonobe leaves his parents' farm in the sticks and goes to Ikebukuro to find Makoto Majima, Friend of Justice and employee of a fruit stand, who he heard about online. A friend of Terunobu's parents ran off with a large sum of money and he needs to find them, and he thinks Makoto can help, but he's surprised when Makoto has a spiky mohawk over a foot tall and demands five thousand dollars up front. Just as he's about to be pushed into fresh cement, a passing stranger, who beats up all the punks and helps Terunobu out, turns out to be the real Makoto, who mostly ends up doing good deeds by accident. Will he be able to help Terunobu? Will he want to?

Based on a popular series of novels and a TV drama, this is a one volume spin-off manga from the main series of Ikebukuro West Gate Park. [polm23]
