Summary and Preview

Crude Play is a super popular band, but one of its members is something of a mystery. Aki, the 25-year-old songwriter and sound creator for the band, never appears in public and is popular only by name.

One day, angered by the infidelity of his girlfriend Mari, who is a popular singer, Aki throws a pickup line to the first person he sees. Amazingly, the 16-year-old girl who is the recipient of his half-hearted effort agrees to date him. She's Riko, a high-schooler and a huge fan of Crude Play. Will Aki be able to keep his identity a secret from his new girlfriend, and create a place for himself that is separate from the drama of Crude Play? Will he be able to evade the suspicion and animosity of Yuichi, the boy who has a crush on her?
