Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

If you haven't read this comic, don't bother with the first couple of volumes. Lots of silly antics and no real plot. Then, out of nowhere, this comic transforms into one of the coolest action-based sci-fi mangas you've ever read. Plus it's got baby hit-men. Need I say more??

Would have given it a 3 on average, but because I only consider the real meat of this comic to be after the nonsense ended around the start of the varia fight, it deserves a 5 for being so interesting. Permalink " "

Katekyo Hitman Reborn empieza como una serie de humor con historias autoconclusivas, pero que terminó transformándose en un auténtico manga de peleas, manteniendo un poco del humor original y mejorando enormemente la calidad del dibujo.

Resumen: Tsuna es un chico torpe, cobarde e inútil en muchos aspectos, pero todo se complica aún más cuando un pequeño bebe entra en su vida para ejercer de tutor, con el objetivo de convertirle en el 10º capo mafioso de la familia Vongola. The Reborn! story revolves around a boy named Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, who is chosen to become the Vongola Family's boss due to him being the great-great-great grandson of the first Vongola boss, who had moved to Japan from Italy during his time. Also, the other candidates for the position of the head of the Vongola Family died. For these reasons, Tsuna is the only remaining heir. As such, Timoteo a.k.a. "Vongola IX," the current head of the family, sends Reborn, an infant hitman from Italy, to train Tsuna. Tsuna then unwillingly undergoes training from Reborn. Reborn's main method of teaching Tsuna is the "Dying Will Bullet" ("Deathperation Shot" in Viz Media's translation of the manga), which will make the person be "reborn" with a stronger self intent on fulfilling his dying will. Through his experiences, Tsuna unconsciously becomes stronger and more confident, which ultimately makes him better suited as the Vongola Family's boss despite continuing to reject his Mafia inheritance.

Tsuna goes through many predicaments in his progress of becoming the Vongola boss including fighting against escaped Mafia convicts posing as Kokuyo Junior High students. Later, The Varia, a rival group of Vongola assassins, claim the right for their boss to be the true Vongola boss, and start a competition to decide it. To defeat the Varia, Reborn recruits most of Tsuna's schoolmates to become the Vongola guardians: Hayato Gokudera, a dynamite expert who wishes to be his right-hand man, Takeshi Yamamoto, a baseball player who thinks the Mafia is a game, Ryohei Sasagawa, the energetic captain of the school boxing club, and Kyoya Hibari, the deadly head prefect. Lambo, a weak infant assassin who came to kill Reborn, and Chrome Dokuro, a girl who is sometimes possessed by the criminal Mukuro Rokudo, joins them as well. After defeating the Varia, Tsuna and his friends are accidentally transported to the future where they must face the Millefiore Family, which is annihilating the Vongola. Permalink " "

yeah it went from silly comedy to full action packed manga from the rokudou mukurou arc and it's getting better all the time Permalink " "

My favorite manga of all time, the characters and the fights are incredible and there use of comedy happens at the right time. Yes in the beginning it more comedy but there some action here and there but its important because thats how you get to know the main characters, which is one of the reasons this manga is so great. When it does get to the action it great, but the storyline and the character development is what draws you in emotionally, plus the vongola rings are pretty unique and awesome. I am a huge fan of Bleach and Naruto just like alot you but this manga is defiantly my favorite. P.S: also check the Anime out, it is still ongoing and it get better and better. VOIIIII!
