Summary and Preview

Miki has managed to eek out a living somehow or other by feeding off of her older boyfriend for 7 years, but has recently begun having doubts about their relationship. After all these years, he has never mentioned moving in together or marriage. Unable to communicate well with others and lacking self-confidence, Miki feels like a bird trapped in a gilded cage. In the midst of all this she meets a young man of harsh words by the name of Kamatani at her post in the students affairs office. Although Kamatani seems to have no qualms about invading her personal space, he saves her when she's in trouble, and Miki gradually begins to have feelings for him. [From Stiletto Heels]
