The End of Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE

I knew Tsubasa was going to end soon when I saw that everything looks like it's coming to an end.

Well, at least that's one less series for me to work on =P

actully yes all great mangas need to come to an end

Yeah...the signs were there that it was drawing to a close which is why I put it on hold for now. Will just read to the end in one go. :D

It's about time it ended. Is it me or did clamp made it too confusing. Or maybe that's how all clamp stories are. Its nice to look forward to the ending. Let's see how the story ultimately resolves itself.

Very mistaken it's a great series that just isn't being artificially lengthen.

So is xxxholic coming to an end?

the first season are well good,
but when the second season starts,which start to mix with holic a lot and the time travel getting little exciting but both series confuse each other ,
in the time i thought it have a happy end(sakura get marry give birth)then they say is just a dream................ better stop for a new series^^

njt, they try to make it unnecessary confusing. The series is likable enough but the story is developed in a convoluted manner. It's still a fun read but it can make heads hurt sometimes. Also, xxxholic is something of a companion read. You have to read both concurrently to get as better handle on the story. xxxholic is better IMO.

Been a while since I haven't read Tsubasa,kinda stopped it around summer vacation to take a break from reading mangas...still have like 10 chapters to catch up xD...
I don't think it's really that bad,it was a great story,and every great plots might came in an end sooner or later...Glad that it's not over 300 chapters or it'll kill my motivation to read.Nope,instead of being shocked,I'm more like excited,about the ending I mean.We can always re-read it whenever we like anyway~

Wow, so it's finally the end - I thought there will be another volume before the end, but nonetheless it was expected, that the end is near, hyhy.

After about half-way point this manga takes a downfall (imo). And yeah, they're in the final fight so it was very much expected.

I'm disappointed, but not overly surprised...
At least it'll end before it gets ridiculous and drawn-out (I'm thinking of Inuyasha and Bleach...)

Maybe they can finally get to work on completing X/1999. They even said they only have 2-3 more tankobans worth of material left to do it until its finished.

well, i knew it was going to end, but not that quickly- it doesn't seem like it can end in two 20 paged chapter. they're gonna have to make it long if they wanna wrap things up properly. :D

I remember CLAMP saying Tsubasa and Holic would end roughly October 2009. I just can't believe it's almost October 2009! D: Man how the time flies. I think I first heard that ending prediction like three or four years ago.

TRC was always working towards an ending, it was only a question of how and when. I find the news fulfilling rather than sad.

I will be very interested to see what note it ends on.

I know it's ending, but not this soon! I feel like there's still so many loose ends untied! I can't possible imagine how they are going to tie everything up in two chapters O_O Maybe they will have some extra parts in Xxxholic....

I AM SO HAPPY!!!! I want it to end so badly. It's driving me crazy @_@

Lol, finally. I don't know about anybody else, but I had a hard time keeping track of this weekly. By the time the next chap came out, I'd forget what happened in the previous one. @_@
But that's just me.

It was a good series, yet it's just too long... adding to all the CLAMPish break, making it a hell out of time XD
I still find myself enjoy it though, just not on a weekly basis anymore XD

im among the many that are happy to see it end... finally, well hopefully, figure WTH has been goin on... was reading xxxholic first then picked up TRC when crossovers kept happening... i thought itd make it less confusing but it only made it worse (x.x) w/ all the dimension travel, time travel, and well few of the major things that happened in the past few volumes... waitin on holic to end as well... so i can go back and read both of them at the same time... just need to go buy TRC since i already have holic up-to-date on my shelves...

TRC had a fantastic premise, but was too drawn out and secretive for its own good. After enduring lots of terrible scanlations and finally going to the raws I can say that it *was* interesting, but very hard to understand because it's so stereotypical Japanese (they omit the objects and subjects of their sentences ALL THE TIME). Furthermore, you don't have the full story unless you read xxxHolic too, because...ops, that'd be a spoiler. Again, another cool idea to have two series that run in tandem and relate--but both suffered from poor pacing and because the most key part of the plot remains hidden for the majority of both series, it feels very forced once it is revealed.

For the confused/impatient/fed up: Relax, as per CLAMP's usual marketing, we'll be seeing OVA's of the rest of it. And best of all, they move fast, so you'll be getting several chapters in one ep...can't wait.
