Get One Piece Manga Volume 0 as a Gift!

Planning on being in Japan on December 12th? No?! Then this news post might change your plans!

On December 12th the newest One Piece movie Strong World will be playing in theaters across Japan. To commemorate this spectacular new movie (which is being overseen by Oda himself!) viewers will be given a special manga volume- One Piece Volume Zero!! The manga will feature the world of One Piece 20 years ago and will be handed out to people on a first come first serve basis.

Now I'm normally not one to be totally excited about an anime series turned anime movie. But the thought of adding volume zero to my collection = instant win. So I'll be there, and I'll get my copy! Even if I have to sleep over night on the cold hard pavement of Ikebukuro >.>. *cough*

With that said, here are some pictures of the characters and their voice actors you can expect in this new movie!

Wait, is Volume 0 a completely new volume? Is it going to have a new story set 20 years in the past? Because if so, that is beyond awesomeness.

Well... -__- i guess German Fans will have no chance to get into This Movie or even get this Volume Zero translated...
(Maybe in a few Years, but not as a movie gift)
Imagine that there is not one Single One Piece Movie here in Germany Translated...
Thats it, screw Germany, i want to live in Japan :D

no wonder Oda was taking so many breaks. he is always working >.<
Togashi should learn from Oda.

with this, OP movie will be an instant hit. i can't even imagine the lines.

Wonder what's going to happen in Volume 0 though. If it's set 20 years ago many of the straw hats are under age 20 if I remember correctly, unless they grew enough to be 2-3 at that time o_O;

At least Oda is overseening the moving-therefore the movie should be enjoyable.

This must be one of those dreams where I only think about OP and its wonders....
Thinking about OP Vol. 0 we should see Roger and Garp, oh and Sengoku and probably Luffy's mother too...

Oh yeah, and some movie. Maybe it'll be worth watching this time?

But seriously, I'm just looking forward to volume 0. Perhaps this is what Oda was being so evasive about regarding how canon this movie might be.

Update 2: According to Comic Natalie, the volume will be limited to the first 1.5 million moviegoers. The volume's story will link to the story of the film, and it will include the materials that Oda drew for the movie.

1.5 million copies...We might get one afterall

So based on that,it will contain those artworks drawn by Oda regarding the movie 10[Oda nearly drew 120 pages for that movie]

First guys don't get too hyped up..This a free service.How kind do you think Shueisha is..Them handing out free volumes to fans..It's a little off.Reality check needed.This is the other update...We all know that the movie is written by Oda.According to this one it will link the manga & the movie & the pages Oda has drawn..Which one amongst the two is accurate????But I wouldn't get my hopes up too high

dang it...i'm going to Japn sometime in Dec...
i totally forgot about the fact that One World's playing on the 12th...
...arrgh...i dunno if i can afford an entire day waiting in line to get the Vol.0...
but Oda's One World...orz....

i duno if my buddies will go watch w/ me....
they dun understand Japn...and if there aren't any subs...
they certainly don't seem like they'll go watch w/ me...:(

Wish I could have one of those limited editions. Limited editions is just a must have normally from something you love. And I love Oda and OP but kind of a shame that only Japan gets this service. And cba to fly to Japan to just get a book in a language I still can't decently read and spend tons of cash on it just to have it.

At least it'll get scanlated. Still better then nothing :) .
