Yuki's earliest memory is of a stormy night in winter when she was attacked by a vampire.... and then rescued by another -- the pureblood vampire Kaname Kuran. Now 10 years later, Yuki lives with her adoptive father, Headmaster Cross, at Cross Academy, a prestigious private school with an unusual class structure. The student body is divided into two classes: the Day Class, which is made up of ordinary students, and the Night Class, an elite group of "beautiful people." Along with Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who has a deep-seated hatred for vampires, Yuki is a Guardian of the school, there to protect the Day Class from the Academy's dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires!

Have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions? Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuki the beginning of a forbidden romance, or is there something in her forgotten past that draws him to her? In this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems. And the price of misplaced trust may even be worse than death.

LOVE! How did your Valentine's Day go? Not everyone's life has been lovey dovey like all the couples out there, and a number of us actually spent time in the General Discussion section talking about that Day in our Hang Out Thread or the Happy Singles Awareness Day! ^^

If we are in Japan, girls will give chocolates to all the boys on February 14, the chocolates are known as honmei-choko (本命チョコ) , and boys will be expected to recipocrate by giving chocolates back on the March 14, also know as the White Day (ホワイトデー)!! What a way to tell whether is there a future to your expression of love.
