The concluding chapter of Tayutama – Kiss on My Deity has been updated.
It was a short, yet fun project and I think everyone from the AFS team who worked on it did their best to make a good presentation to other fans. Thanks for the encouragement we received from our fellow Tayutama readers and fans! Don’t forget to support the creators of Tayutama by purchasing official stuff, and also collect the Tayutama games, I highly recommend it!

Enough of the foreign language news that practically nobody ever reads. Here's an announcement. Since all English scanlated mangas are BANNED whether the groups working on them are from North America or not. We decided to make our own release of some of our projects in our native language. And since putting up links to group releases will breach copyright laws that would lead to the removal of this group news in MangaHelpers, I won't be posting the links to our latest releases here or anywhere else on this site. Tough luck guys, you may have to Google it.

Busy, busy, busy...
I have been burning the midnight oil these past few days to clear out any pending group activities (a.k.a. releases) but real life stuff always finds a way to slow me down... The holiday season is already upon us and most of the team will be busy so, work progress will slow down for a bit. Just keep an eye out on our blog page (you'll just have to Google it, we're not allowed to put up links to blog pages)

Being part of the team who once brought back My Barbaric Girlfriend (Boku to Kanojo no XXX) scanlation, I feel sad that MBG has been removed from MangaFox and along with it are months worth of effort from dedicated individuals who devoted part of their time and effort just to share to fellow fans the enjoyment they found reading the series. It's wee bit late for that but the song is just viral and I can't get it off my system!!
What am I talking about!? The Vegetable Juice drink jingle sung by Hatsune Miku famously known as "Po Pi Po" 「ポッピッポ」 Since work with the scanlation is getting pretty slow all I can do for now is just write some random updates, but don't worry Jacava is already working on the typesetting of the next chapter of Hanaukyo Maid Tai. Chapter 12 for Magikano is still 40% complete and I'm still waiting for any updates from Ren-chan she's currently in Korea right now and it'll be a while till she comes back, but thanks to the internet we can constantly get in touch. ^_^

With the growing concerns about scanlation releases being threatened by the publishers, this release will not violate any copyright laws against any authors, unless I sue myself!

Scanlation for our current projects will continue as usual eventhough progress is slow, but the bad news is that MH will start removing raw mangas and scanlations from their system.

It seems that the publisher movement to close down all free manga host sites are getting more relentless and most of the scanlators and manga host sites are feeling the pressure.

I am not sure how far we will be able to go from here on, but I have setup a separate Angry Fox web page to host most of our releases.

As for progress with other works I will still update here, so please keep a watch out for our releases.

We were in hiatus for a full month because of some real life issues we need to take care of, but rest assured that we are still alive and kicking! Hanaukyo Maid Tai vol. 6 chapter 36 is now out and ready for online reading. I will update the external download link shortly after I finish editing the Angry Fox download section.

Right now I'd like to share one funny page from the next chapter. In this page it seems Sanae found a new group of rather odd friends :P

This might not be related, but I feel that I must let it out of my system. today morning I was doing my routine browsing when I discovered that MF had blocked all mature mangas! I was totally shocked and I felt angry, sad and confused at the same time, I mean... "WHAT THE HECK MAN!?" 75% of the titles in my bookmarks list is practically gone! Now I need to look around elsewhere for updates on my favorite "MATURE" category mangas...

Or maybe they'll ask for credit card numbers next time for age verificatio "DUH"

Chapter 36 of Hanaukyo Maid Tai is already on the works and hopefully will be released soon! The typical hilarious situations between Tarou and the Hanaukyo maids continue, but this time Shizuka's most trusted adviser joins the mix and seems to have fallen for Tarou as well. While in the middle of a steamy hot bath Tarou encounters a shocking revelation that would change his life forever!!!

I guess I should have said this far earlier, but the special chapter (35.1) is up! With that comes the conclusion of volume 5, so hopefully we can start the next one before Easter break is over (sorry to those where it already is; I'm off for another 2 and a half weeks).

Well, it's the holy week in my area and unfortunately Ren-chan went out on a holiday, leaving me alone with the translation job :(
The next chapter release might be delayed for a few days, but the good thing is that Ren-chan will be back from her holiday in time to work on the first chapter of volume 6 ^_^

Hanaukyo Maid Tai chapter 35 is a blooming success! It is currently the most read chapter in our recent releases ^_^
Keeping the weekly release schedule can be a bit challenging, but we'll try to keep up.

On other news, an interesting Manga has been brought up to my attention by bergill, it's entitled Magikano by MOMOSE Takeaki and the scanlation has been left dormant for more than 2 years already! I am currently considering of picking up this interesting manga because I happen to be an avid reader of Kami Sen which is also by MOMOSE.

The only thing is the Angry Fox is currently understaffed, so, in order to work on our releases much faster we really need extra help!

I have been thinking about picking up the "Cherry X Cherry" manga, it seems that there are only three chapters left untranslated. But on the other hand, I was also thinking of picking up on the "Spas-Pa" manga, the complete raws are available, but it's been a long while since VISCANS updated the balance chapters...

But hopefully, once the HMT chapter 35 translation and cleaning is done, I may be able to start work on either of the titles I mentioned earlier.
