Well, fans, here ya go: The 8th chapter of Cherry X Cherry, for your enjoyment.

Incidentally, we've been getting a lot of flak for "stealing" this project from MBT!!
Grow up, please? I've tried to make it clear before, to no avail, but we didn't "steal" anything. Nobody was working on this project when we picked it up; we probably started working on it earlier than MBT, but going only by release-dates, that's hard to know. We originally intended to release the entire series at once; but then discovered MBT had released chapters 1-4 whilst we were still working on 8. We figured releasing LQ's of 1-4 was pointless, and maybe a little rude to MBT - neither of us knew the other was working on the same project!! So, we decided to quickly release 5-7, to at least get our hard work out there, and then release 8-12 as they get finished. These are LQ's only, folks! Don't bitch about the quality, these ones are just to get the translation available for fans, fast! We'd intended to release HQ tankoban later, but, given the unfavourable response, I just no longer feel like it. I WILL finish the series; but I WON'T cop any more flak for "stealing" a series I may or may not have started!! It's not excactly the easiest thing to do, so how about some gratitude for our efforts? To those who have given a positive response, thank you. Christ, I wasn't about to drop the project because I found out another group had also started, half-way through the game... "Fly-by-night", indeed...

So again, to fans - enjoy! To haters, screw off.
Obviously, nothing against MBT themselves, here - they do good work - merely some of their more rabid and, likely, otherwise uninvolved supporters...

who cares what asses have to say, anyone who b*tch about a good thing isn't worth listening to! and is there some unspoken rule that more then 1 group can release series chp or something(anime isn't like that)?
i mean when sleepy paused on air gear a whole bunch of groups picked it up but once they got back they did there own versions of the already released chapters, so let mbt do it to

I think it's better if you can also summit the ch1 to ch.4 too. Don't care what other's do. What I want is to download a manga [whatever it's great or not] with the full english version WITH THE SAME TRANSLATOR. If you believe you can beat MBT[wherever the quality or the speed] in this manga, show us you can. Show us the first four ch. which I have waited for the english translation version since I've read first page the Japanese version. I just want to have the fully version of this manga WITH THE SAME TRANSLATOR(YES! I mean YOU!) UPLOAD the first four ch you may have done before! I'll always on your side in this manga.
