Okay, there’s been a lot of people wondering and asking me about the whole Monk! situation. For those of you who aren’t in-the-know… (which should be about most of you) I was asked to translate Monk! by a guy named Euronymous and I agreed to help the guy out. Everything’s smooth sailing until you fast forward a few months later, and Euronymous decides to act like a dick to me when I mouthed off inside their staff channel because no one told me why Monk! was getting stalled for so long. In my rush of anger, I threatened to call off the Monk! joint — and Euronymous’ said that he doesn’t care. His view at that time did NOT reflect the view that the guys over at OMFGG held so we amicably worked things out and decided to keep it a joint despite things not being cool with Euro and I. But from there onwards, some more huge drama went on with both sides getting the wrong impression of each other and I THOUGHT everyone worked things out when the conversation above happened no less then three hours ago. So what does this mean for ‘Monk!’? We have no plans of dropping the project and neither do they. ItzRayz is doing me WRONG in the sense that he used me when I was a necessity to the joint (he even admits it in the logs) but dropping the joint because I’m nothing more than an option to him now… when at ANY time the DFCG could have called off the joint and we just went solo on Monk! — Forgive me if I have something called ‘loyalty’ for the peers that I work with. Forgive me if I nitpick and criticize on a small error… for the sake of BETTERMENT on a release for quality and enjoyment purposes. Forgive me simply… for CARING about you guys. The readers.

And the lesson that you guys can learn from my mistake? Don’t make ANYONE a priority when to them you’re just an option.

So by now… you guys may be wondering where this leaves ‘Monk!’? We’re releasing the HQ of Monk! Volume 1 tonight on the irc channel #dfcg @ irc.irchighway.net as well as #omfgg @ irc.irchighway.net and that's that for the joint. I can’t speak for the OMFGG but there’s a good chance they’re going to continue the project based on what Rayz said on the logs. We have no plans on dropping the project meaning you’ll have TWO groups doing the same series. (which sounds pretty stupid and unproductive to me)

TL;DR ItzRayz of OMFGG WRONGED me. You’re now going to have two groups working on the same project because of Rayz’s ego.

P.S. For anyone over at OMFGG reading this that I have worked with… I am NOT upset at anyone of you guys. (save Euronymous and ItzRayz now for doing this) If anything, you guys are probably just as confused as to why this is happening… just like I am. I’m just going to say this. It’s been a blast working with you guys. FMG, Claudia, Kamii-sama… you guys are all TALENTED individuals and GOOD people. You guys are ALWAYS welcome inside my channel and you guys already know that I’m here for you guys. I’m truly sorry the joint had to end this way. But I hope the logs clear my name in saying that I wasn’t the one responsible for dictating the dropping of this joint.

Keep in mind this release is a JOINT with OMFGG. For some reason (probably due to the ongoing drama on MH) I can't release it as a joint.
