I'd better announce this, since I'm already getting PMs... Maybe you've heard of scanlation apocalypse that's going down? Mangahelpers have complied with demands so fast, they haven't even gotten demands yet. (That's not even a joke. They haven't actually receivd a C&D and yet they still pulled all releases and raws without so much as a warning.)

So, isn't there are supposed to be a new chapter or two by now? Those of you who really stay on top of Nana to Kaoru might already be aware, but for anyone else: there are no raws to be found. As far as I know, chapters 8 and 9 are in fact out on paper in Japan, but not scanned. I have no private sources, only public sites and p2p, so I'm just waiting like everyone else.

This news post is just to assure any nervous addicts that I haven't abandoned the project or anything. Don't feel too dejected. At the same time, don't get too hopeful for some ninja scanlation releases any day now; if you can't find the raws then I probably can't either.
