Chapter 12, a.k.a ch 34

A bit of a special chapter this time: 4 colour pages, and the whole chapter is 28 pages long instead of the usual 20. Woo!

Even better special: the next chapter of Nana to Kaoru would normally be a month away, but Amazume-sensei is breaking his schedule and giving us yet another new chapter in the next issue of Young Animal, less than two weeks away, on 11 June.

And here's the other one. In order to free up some real-world time for myself, I got my friend Sooz to do most of the scanlating on this one. I let her have free reign on fonts and stuff too, so that's why it looks different. Huge thanks to her! She puts in way more work than I do when editing these.

The next chapter, ch10, will be published in Japan on or by April 23. Here's hoping the scanners out there are good to us.

In which Nana feels hot. I'm feeling a little hot myself after staring at this for so many hours.

The raw scans were darker/lower contrast than usual, and I wasn't going to re-ink all the blacks. I think it turned out pretty well anyway.

1) I'm loving this story arc, and I'm not even into spanking. I'm digging Kaoru acting so damn mean.
2) I don't get why so many dislike the way Kaoru looks, because he's not hot enough. He's hilarious. See pp21-22.

Note: the next chapter will not be out for a whole month! Young Animal magazine is published twice monthly, but it turns out Nana to Kaoru is on a "3 on, 1 off" schedule, so the next chapter will appear in the December 25th issue. Plus that's a busy weekend here so Quicker will also take a few more days to release.

Note: This series runs in the bi-weekly magazine "Young Animal" whereas the original series ran in the monthly magazine "Young Animal Arashi".

It is not a reboot, it follows after the events of the original series, but they made an intro chapter and restarted numbering at 01 for the benefit of the new audience.
