SDS, short for Sakana Desu Scans, is a small scanlation group mainly based on LiveJournal, comprising Sirane and Demiotaku. Sakana Desu literally translates to "It's a fish" in Japanese.
Our focus is mainly on BL/non-BL Doujinshis and (unlicensed) oneshots or short series and we do not keep to a fixed release schedule. We upload all our releases to the official LJ comm, but non-doujin releases are also uploaded elsewhere (such as MH).
Recruitment is not open at the moment.
We're really glad to be able to provide you with scanlations, but we do have a few simple rules that we'd like you to follow:
1. Please do not redistribute any of the scans outside MH without our permission. If for some reason, you'd like to repost the scans or download links, please ask us first! (Don't worry, we don't bite.)
2. Please do not take credit for the scanlations, and also, please do not remove the credits page which should be included with each release.
3. We would appreciate it if you do not use the scans in icons or graphics, since in many cases the scans do not belong to us. Of course, you are free to contact the original raw provider for permission.
We provide scanlations because we would like to help get more exposure to lesser known titles, or just to help those who cannot read Japanese enjoy the manga. Getting the scanlations should not be seen as an excuse not to buy an original copy of the book!
Whenever possible, please try to buy an original copy of the book to support the artist. There are many online sites which offer doujin pickup services or sell original manga.
Note: To see scans and download links for doujinshis, you need to join the /sakanadesuscans/ LJ community.

Phew, it's finally done! This was actually pretty hard to scanlate in terms of typesetting and translating the 'cultural' references despite how it's only a short 20 pages.
Oh yes, I'm really sorry for the numerous Translator's Notes orz. There were a lot of references to Japanese internet subculture (2ch, Nico Nico Douga, etc.), so it was sort of hard to just do away with them. Also, we're very sorry if some of the text is vertically aligned (and thereby hard to read) due to space constraints D: In any case, please don't let that affect your enjoyment of this short but funny oneshot!
