... And it is a good thing that this finally has ended. I started learning Japanese in December 2009, starting from simple grammatical rules. Then I began to learn kanji, hundreds, thousands of kanjis. And then in the summer of 2010 I started to translate manga and in July 2010 for the first time one of my translation was put in a scan. Then in September 2010 I subscribed mangahelpers and began to post my translations here as a freelance translator.
In the meantime I continued to learn and master Japanese, I even took the Japanese proficiency test level N4 and passed it. With the passing of the months the hour I dedicated to Japanese increased. At first it was just only one hour a day, then they became two when I began to learn kanji. In the 2011 they became three because I began to add listening to my study of the language, and you have to add to this the time needed to do the actual manga translations.
Ah, the translations. The first times you try to translate from Japanese it is a real chaos. I still wonder how was I able to translate full manga chapters when my speed was still under the 400 words per hour. All the hours I spent searching that damn expression on Google or understanding those damn sentences and their meaning. And I did all this while studying the actual language!
But finally I reached the objective I set that day of December 2009 and I have to say that I am satisfied. So what I can do now and here is this:

Anyway that’s my Japanese language proficiency test (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Language_Proficiency_Test) level N2 certificate of the exam I did on December 2011. I finally passed that damned exam with 123/180! I studied for the last 2 years in order to pass it, and I finally reached this result.

So this is the end of a period made of hard and mad study and I can finally relax a little and concentrate more on aspects of Japanese that really interest me.

Anyway thanks for reading, see you in my next translation!!!

P.S. Guys, did you really think for even a second that I would retire?

CONGRATULATION FOR YOUR TEST! =D! Personnaly, I think that Japanese is a really hard language and that's why i admire people like you who are enough courageous to learn it. (I already have a hard time with English, so...)
And hum well, a moment I really believed that you were going to stop translating and I was so sad (because you're a good and very fast translator) but at the same time happy that you have atteined your goal. ^^.

I really hope to see your next translation =D

Well I hoped... :p

Congratz with passing N2, specially since it's N2. Ready to take care of N1, the rocket science? xD

You know what's sad...my N4 won't be as easy as your N4, lol...and taking N5 would probably make you laugh :p

Anyway congratulations with passing N2....btw does that mean that you level'ed up in skills and speed? xD

Since October/November 2010 my speed greatly increased as the comprehension of the text. For example now I'm able to translate more than 800 words per hour especially if I'm not tired and the sentences make a lot more of sense. Obiviously I talking about "raw" speed that is when I don't reread the script, which are normally the translations which I suggest to apply a proofread on.

and yes, N5 is really ridiculous

2 years of serious learning is something I should do too instead of just playing around in jclass xD since now I got time enough after stopping scanlating stuff.
(then again I seem to busy with lots of other stuff...studying)

...or maybe I should start translating stuff since I seem to understand raws just fine (with kana)

too many possibilities xD
