Tezuka: Though this story takes place in the middle of the Atom's series, it is the most popular of his tales. The decisive battles between Pluto and the other robots have excited many readers. And If I recall right, I ended up receiving loads of letters of protest when Pluto was destroyed, since I never really made him out to be a villain.

Tezuka: --Indeed, just as it called the most popular story arc within the Atom television programme, it is also the work I've most enjoyed creating.
