Ch85 summery

Mikan is still thinking about what just happened, who the boy who just conefessed his love is.
She realized "that's natsume". But naive as she is, she doesn't understand why.
The sports festival continues and it's time for the cheerleading contest. Mikan's red team elementary
students are dressed up in male school outfites caled Gakuran (he long version of this outfit is used
for male cheerleaders. Check the "Hanazakari no kimitachi e" books for another example of this)

Nonoko, HOtaru and others of the white team are surprised to seeing Mikan dresssed up in Gakuran like a boy.
But to know why is a pleasure everyone wil need to wait until the contest begins.

Ruka and Natsume pass by and notice Mikan. Mikan wants to ask Natsume if the masked boy earlier was him or not, but
she is interrunpted bu Koizumi Luna, who congradulates Mikan for recieving a confession and lies: I was wastching from afar
with Natsume-kun ALL THE TIME.
Mikan is confused. She was sure the masked boy had to be Natsume. Luna and Natsume waslk away arm in arm. Once out
of everyone's site, Natsume pushes Luna away, but Luna replies he should be more grateful for her hiding his blunder
and Luna: "Ah it's no fun,Your little attitude/ and her (Sakura MIkan) popularity. I feel like it's about time I make her realize...."

The three principals are in the crowd watching over the festival. We're zoomed in on the high-school principal's face, but with the echoes
of Luna's giggles.
And so the cheerleading contest begins.The white team performes, brassband, pheromone alices signing and dancing, acrobats and
and excercising smoke cloud character. The elementary student of the red team are excited: Wow! White team amazing! No wonder we
loose every year!" But Tsubasa notices someone's missing. The usually excited Mikan isn't screaming with the others. Mikan is
seriously staring towards Natsume. Though after hearing that Natsume wasn't the masked boy and Natsume with Luna bothers her....
she tried to cinvince herself that it's nothing to her. Subaru tells everyone bnot to worry about the white team and to perform as practiced.
Tono checks a star on Mikan's clothes that shows how much of her alice is left. It's full, just as planned, since she did not use her alice.
And they plan to keep it that way. The red teammates are excited! It's almost Mikan's team's turn to perform, but Ruka notices Hotaru walking
away with Luna. He follows them. Luna thanks Hotaru for helping her go to the infermery since she thinks she lightly twisted her ankle.
Hotary says: But isn't this a long way to get to the infermery?" Luna admits that she did on perpose because she wanted to have some time alone
with Hotaru. Luna says she's always wanted to be friends with Hotaru but thought because MIkan dislikes her, Hotaru did to, which made her
so sad. With suspicious eyes, Hotaru goes along with Luna's lies and says whe deoesn't mind becoming friends. Luna, getting ready to use her alice
on Hotaru, whispering on her neck, but Ruka, who noticed Luna's actions jumps out of the bushes: Imai! it's almost time for
Sakura's performance." Hotaru says good-bye to Luna, "See you at the grounds then". While running aways with Ruka, Hotaru thanks him"Ruka-kun, good job!
Nice timing!" SHe says he saved her from wasting a mecha alice, which she thought she'd need against Luna's alice. Hotaru explains to
Ruka that she's now sure that all thoe students acting strange with a black mark on their necks are by Luna's alice. Since Teachers and syudents
can't be trusted, not even Natsume, Hotaru says, SHe and Ruka must team up together. Ruka is to find students with the black marks and
Hotaru will keep an eye on Mikan and Luna. Until now, nothing has gone wrong during the Sports festivl,but Luna's actions today
bother Hotaru, making her feel something bad is going to happen.


The red team performance begins. Mikan and the other elementary sudents in their Gakuran, first the rain alice makes pink rain fall and
turnes their uniformes to red. Next the wind alice blows off their clothes to reveal bee and butterfly costumes and hiding junio-high and high school st
teammates. The crowd is surpised. Fake flowers blowing everwhere, the word red apears in the sky. The students in bees and butterflies begin to fly towards
the flowers. Older students on the ground are dancing, (with a group a\of students their for security t catch any students who may fall)
A double dance of heaven and earth, th efallen flowers spell Red team victory on the ground. The crowd is excited, everyone, Mikan is happy.
it's working! Their performance is liked! They have a chance to win. But in the crows watches Luna, with anevil smile. The student controlling Mikan's flying
with his alice has a black mark on his neck. Luna uses her alice by momentarily stopping his laice. Mikan begins to fall. Everyone is shocked!
But the student in charge of Mikan can't use his alice! It's not working! Natsume! Everyone! They area all screaming out "MIKAN!!"
Mikan doesn't understand what's going on! "I'm falling!" The high school principal stands from his chair. But it seems that Sakurano's
alice weroked just in time, Mikan stops falling just a few centimeters head from hitting the ground. Everyone runs towards Mikan. Mikan
faints. From afar the elementary school principal is watching, looking satisfied with an evil grin on his face.
The conpetition is put on hold. The boy in charge of Mikan's flying is interrogated, but he explains he can't remember anything during
that time. He is known as an excellent student, so everyone is confused to what could have happened.

Mikan wakes up in the hospital bed. Everyone was worried about her. She is still confused.
An evil voice, talking with those who were interrogating the boy, says: The victim is the student with the nullification alice...
I've heard of her reputation many times and It's not very good...What if this accident was caused by this studen't nullification alice? to show off, for example...

In the room awhere Mikan is lying, Persona appears. Everyone is surprised. Why would Persona come here!?
