Luffy: Bon-chan! Did you get some of that "Vigour" stuff too?!

I even did a quick search to make sure I hadn't used Magellan's name instead of Hannyabal's anywhere... I guess that was before I translated page 17 ~~
also, i was hoping you would humor me with your thinking behind some of the translation points. especially "顔でかっ"; with the "Crap, that's huge" translation you don't mention the face at all, haha. also, can "色な意味で止まりません！" literally be translated as "In so many ways are they not stopping!"? Also, have you ever thot of including the Kanji translations along with the move names? I just feel like for a Japanese reader, you get to see the Kanji along with the Katakana name, so Croc's "Barhan" simultaneously feels like "Crescent Dune", you know? and have you ever considered translating the sound effects as well? that's something i definitely have no understanding of, haha, and i feel like it would help with the enjoyment of the action.

For the 顔でかっ... well, does it really need mentioning what it's talking about? I think it's pretty obvious >< I just wanted to keep it short and sweet like the Japanese ~~ And yes, that would be a literal translation of 色んな意味で止まりません. It's a turn of phrase that doesn't work very well literally translated into English ><
As for the kanji renderings of the attack names... well, they're basically there to convert the Katakana Gibberish into something meaningful, right? That's not generally quite as necessary in English (since Roman spelling gives more of a feel to it than just katakana do, and often for an English speaker it's easier to tell what these words mean, either because they have cognates in English, or they are English in the first place =p)... but still, when attack names (in Japanese or in other foreign languages) first come up, I generally give a translator's note explaining the meaning. Usually an actual translation of the word, rather than a translation of the loose interpretation the kanji rendering often offers. I tend to feel that translating the translation would be kind of overkill, no matter how heavily-interpreted it is ~~
As for Barchan in particular... well, it is actually an English word (if a distinctly obscure one) and it's also an attack we've seen before (albeit hundreds of chapters ago =p) so I didn't bother giving a translation ~~
