[TN: Okay, re-edit after Nihongaeri's second opinion (thank you for that!). Looks like he, and the Japanese readers in general, agree with my original interpretation, so I've changed it back. It certainly does make more logical sense that way (I was kind of reluctant to edit in the first place for that reason). But just for the record, it's not 100% clear here which body was sealed into the moon: the Juubi's, or the Sennin's.]

Tobi: As the Jinchuuriki of the Juubi, the Rikudou Sennin... / ...was already beyond what we would call "human".
