Script Notes:- Aki choked me when the Sharks lost in triple overtime (As if I had anything to do with all those faceoff losses).
- We barely got anything done this week since we'll be moving onto a Suikoden III: Successor of Fate, and possibly Gantz as well, project in the near future.
- Right now it's undecided if we want to continue with Bleach; we'll probably make up our minds after Fanime 2006 at the end of the month.
Anyway, as always please link back instead of crossposting and have a good week!_________________________________________________

Fanning: The encounter leaves ripples like a small stone cast into water.
Kensei: Che... Just who exactly was that woman...?!
Lisa: She just chatted with Ichigo and ran off...
Rose: Seems as if she's one if Ichigo's friends.
Hirako: Ah, that was... Orihime-chan.
Everyone?: Ah!? You two've met already, Shinji!?
Hirako: ...Orihime-chan's my... love at first sight.
Kensei: So desperate you gotta lie then.
Lisa: You're like that with everyone, Shinji. I recall you using the same line for me before.
Rose: (...She considers herself cute...?)
--------------- Page 02 ---------------
Hiyori: With everyone?! Well, that's weird! How come I never heard that about me!?
Shinji: Duh, it'd be screwy if I did!
Ichigo: Caught you off guard!
Hiyori: Erk!
Love: ...Hatch.
_________________________________________________
Translation Note: Love/Rabu's name is now transcribed into kanji using the characters for "gauze" and "warrior." Apparently, this can also be taken to mean "silken warrior" or even "Roman warrior." There's no final furigana mentioned in the script to finally settle things, so I'll wait till the raw comes out to change Love to Rabu if need be._________________________________________________
Hatch: Yes?
Love: Your barrier work was flawless, don't worry about us questioning its integrity.
_________________________________________________
Translation Note: This time Love/Rabu is written with the kanji for "gauze" and "department." What a strange name... the first one fits better._________________________________________________
Hatch: ...I see.
Love: Though, just how did Orihime-chan find this place... let alone break in?
_________________________________________________
Translation Note: ...Back to using Love/Rabu using "gauze" and "warrior."_________________________________________________
--------------- Page 03 ---------------
Hatch: ...I'm not too sure myself. Well... I'm under the impression she has an innate capacity for searching out spirits... and possesses similar abilities to my own... so she really did seek us out.
Hatch: Perhaps, that is the final say on this matter... with those powers she was able to penetrate the perimeter and infiltrate the area.
Hatch: However, a mere human being able to do that... now that is really difficult to buy.
--------------- Page 04 ---------------
(The panels switch back outside.)???: Finally sniffed you out... Inoue.
Orihime: Yoruichi-san...!
Yoruichi: ...Kisuke asked me to search for you.
--------------- Page 05 ---------------
Yoruichi: If you would, please come along immediately... we're headed for the underground training chamber.
Bleach c226 - The Right of The HeartFanning: Something awaits at the depths of Orihime's powers!? As for Ishida...
(The scene changes to the Karakura Town general hospital.)_________________________________________________
Translation Notes: Remember, Uryuu's father, Ryuuken, is the Head Director of the local hospital; apparently this is where they're duking it out._________________________________________________
--------------- Page 06 ---------------
Uryuu: Haah...haah...hah...ha, ha, ha, ha, ha...
(A myriad of arrows fly at Uryuu. He dodges them, but loses his footing and falls off a ledge.)Uryuu: Da..damn! The chalice tilts to the west...; 『Teal Wine Grail (Vurukooru)』 !!
(Uryuu releases a shockwave at the oncoming ground to break his fall.)_________________________________________________
Translation Notes: If it's possible, the Quincy chants to use the reiatsu-storing artifacts in various ways are... strange. Probably even more so than some of the Kidou incantations that we've seen some of the Shinigami use._________________________________________________
--------------- Page 07 ---------------
Ryuuken: ...So that's where you kept the silver tubes... you've proven to be quite the cautious one.
Uryuu: Haah... calling me a coward, eh... haah... at least say it so I can hear it... haah...
Ryuuken: ------That's the spirit.
--------------- Page 08 ---------------
(Ryuuken resumes filling the air with arrows. Uryuu tries to take action.)Ryuuken: Well now, how do you intend to escape this!? Your moves are sluggish! Is this your limit?!!
--------------- Page 09 ---------------
(Ryuuken continues firing away.)Uryuu: The limit... it certainly feels like mine... my arms will eventually start to go right after my legs... though his reiatsu's tapered off as well...
Uryuu: "More of this and your powers will return" he says, but I haven't even felt any progress... I'm not sure why he would lie about this, but if this keeps up, I'll end being killed by him...
--------------- Page 10 ---------------
Uryuu: The limit... I can only end this training by stopping his degree of movement...! This is it, now or never!
Ryuuken: !
Uryuu: (My final silver tube------!)
(Uryuu gets the jump on Ryuuken and prepares his final silver tube.)Uryuu: The silver rod taps the five hands onto the decaying bed of stone; 『Five Frames of Restraint (Gurittsu)』.
_________________________________________________
Translation Notes: Actually "rod" is probably closer to a "whipping rod" or a good ol' "switch." I'm keeping it as "rod" for now since I'm not sure how whip fits in with the other nouns we've seen used in other Quincy incantations/motifs that have chalices, crosses, and sages (i.e. religious images) in them._________________________________________________
--------------- Page 12 ---------------
(Appendages shoot out of the silver tube and wrap around Ryuuken.)Uryuu: (Yes!!)
--------------- Page 13 ---------------
Uryuu: Na...
(The appendages crumble, revealing Ryuuken's bow, now much larger, at the ready.)Ryuuken: ------Such a disappointing finale.
--------------- Page 14 ---------------
(An arrow nails Uryuu in the chest.)Uryuu: (------This is then--- ...Shit.)
--------------- Page 15 ---------------
(Uryuu collapses.)Ryuuken: ...Reaching your mind and body's thresholds... then receiving a spirit arrow wound 19 milimeters on the righthand side of your heart's sinoatrial node...
--------------- Page 16 ---------------
Ryuuken: This procedure you see before you, is the only way to restore those who have fallen after attaining the pinnacle of Quincy powers.
(Uryuu passes out after the ordeal, a Quincy Cross-shaped scar burned on his chest.)_________________________________________________
Translation Notes: It should be the same pattern as the Quincy Cross artifact that Ryuuken showed to Uryuu when he saved his son from the incomplete Arrancar way back in v21._________________________________________________
--------------- Page 17 ---------------
Ryuuken: ...Pfft... Why didn't you use the "Sacred Bite" back there? You could've at least injured me instead of wasting time with the "Five Frames of Restraint."
_________________________________________________
Without furigana, the best estimated JP pronunciation for the two kanji that make up the "Sacred Bite" Quincy ability would be something like "isao" according to Aki. It is written with the characters for "saintly/sagely" and "bite" so coming up with a corresponding phrase works; definitely sounds like an offensive technique._________________________________________________
Ryuuken: ...That's why you'll always end up short. Anyway, I guess you get off easy for now.
Fanning: The archer with his abilities returned now sets off for the fields of battle!
End of c226

I was surprised though, we got that script really early this week XD
1) A JP fan types up a summary or, if they feel like it, a script (usually of good quality) of the chapter and posts it on a website like Futaba (2ch) or a netabare/some other BBS somewhere on the web. As some of you have surmised, the main poster/moderator of spoiler content on 2ch is currently a user named "◆Kaien1LQ2M " or simply "Kaien." Keep in mind to remember the latter part of his tripcode, "1LQ2M" because there are various fake "Kaien's" swarming the Bleach threads on 2ch that like to post false summaries/scripts (I've fallen for this at least once). Additionally, there are fans that like to flood the thread with their own fantasy scripts that are sometimes mistaken for the official ones for that week in Weekly Jump. "◆Kaien1LQ2M" ALWAYS posts real scripts, hence his reliability.
2) If the official script isn't incoherent and uses the right kanji/doesn't get lazy and use hiragana/katakana for keywords and is complete than I'll take lift the JP text off the BBS and use it to prep a first draft of the EN translation (Usually by this point, the raw is 1 or 2 days away from hitting the net). For Bleach, the JP text is usually first posted in Japan around early Wednesday morning (PST) here and I get to it in the afternoon.
3) If Aki isn't around/cranky/asleep then the first draft gets posted here on MH with a [Draft] tag on it for everyone to read. On the other hand, if she is awake and grills me about all the mistakes I made that she can find then the script is posted without the tag or has it removed.
4) Finally, the raw should come out after the script => translation process; this is where I should put in a better effort in the whole translation procedure since it goes without saying that with the raw in hand, it's much easier to tailor lines to a panel and character's mannerisms when you have the final product in front of you. Plus, you can check for mistakes in the original JP script that was posted online a day or two beforehand. However, I'm quite lazy swamped and I usually let the scanlation teams edit the script as they please if they choose to use it. Otherwise, this is just 2/3 of the job since I don't do this last part; sue me.
And that, guys, is how a script is translated! If you want to hunt for scripts yourselves, try out the main weekly comics hub on 2ch over @ http://etc4.2ch.net/wcomic.
Your explanation on why you have the script already is very informative. Kudos :thumbs
you rule!
Done; hmm, I'll probably do this regularly as soon as I have a chance to look at the raw for myself. Additionally, there was a point in the script where I believe the JP text had Rose objecting to Hirako, but in fact the panels show that was really Hiyori who did (it goes without saying that this has been amended in the EN translation).
Really good chapter. Bleach is slowly nudging its way past Naruto right now for me as far as the plot being more interesting at the moment.
