I'm wondering if I should leave out sound effects. I mark them with asterisks and usually put the japanese text in as well but they sometimes end up in speech bubbles. I'm not good at english sound effects either so I sometimes just write what the sound is, ie. *cocks gun* but those end up in the scans as well :(
