Satoshi: Can you hear me?

Tenome: Huh?

僕の声が聞こえるだろう？　久しぶりだねえ
Satoshi: You can hear me, right? It's been a while, hasn't it?

Satoshi: It's me, Satoshi.
何年ぶりかなあずいぶん探したんだよ
I wonder how many years it's been. I've really been looking for you.
やっと君を見つけたよ
I've finally found you.

Tenome: Do you have some job for me, young master? Sorry, but I have a performance.
やっとこの町にも馴染んだところだ またぞろしくじってたびにでるのはもう御免さ
This town is finally somewhere I　fit in. Botching things up yet again and having to hit the road? I'm done with that.

わがままな坊ちゃんだ　あっしらドサ芸人にも義理ってもんがあらあ

Satoshi: Calm down. This is just proof that you've gotten close to where I am. Right now, you are seeing the same things that I see.

Tenome: I get it. So, let's hear your story.

Satoshi: Thanks. Since last we met, I succeeded as the family leader.
祖父のいったことは正しかった　見鬼家は繁栄を続けたよ
What my grandfather said was right. The Miki House met with great prosperity.
僕は人の本性が視えるのだもの契約や商談の取引でしくじることはない
Because I could see people's true natures, I never messed up a single contract or negotiation.

Satoshi: It soon became clear that our company was maturing, and our stock prices were rising.
手を出しちゃマズい事業には近づかないさ　
Opposition was a bad idea. No one could even come near us.
だから見鬼家の事業は成功して拡大した
And so, the Miki House's enterprise was a huge success and expanded greatly.
軍需産業にも進出した　僕は見鬼家を大財閥にしたんだ
We even got into the weapons industry. I made the Miki House into a huge ruling conglomerate.

Tenome: That's nice. And then? What are you worried about?

Anyone and everyone has started to look like a corpse.　　I'm living in the middle of the dead, surrounded by the dead.

わかってるよ　昔　あんたの側にいるとあんたと同じに他人がケダモノに視えたっけ
Tenome: I understand. Before, if I were near you, I would see other people as animals, like you.
あの時と一緒だ　あんたが視ているものをあたしも視ている
It's the same as back then. Now, I'm seeing the things you're seeing.

Tenome: Your eyes have always been able to see the future.
人は必ず死ぬものだから　みんな死人に視えるのは道理さ
Humans are beings that die, without exception. It's only natural that they should look like corpses.

Satoshi: I can't take it anymore. Help me.
僕の周囲はみんな死人だ誰も彼も死んでるんだ
Everyone around me is a corpse. Anyone and everyone is dead.
君に教えてもらった邪の眼封じも効かないんだ
The eye seal that you once taught me doesn't work.
このままだと僕はきっと気が狂う　いっそこの眼を潰してしまうか
If things go on like this, I'll surely go mad. I might as well gouge out this eye　completely.

Tenome: Wait. Don't be a fool.
あしたがなんとかしてやる　ああ　きっとなんとかなるはずさ
Tomorrow, somehow, I'll do it. It's all right. Somehow, certainly, there's a way to fix this.
