Update 5/1/12: I added GK vol5 and made all my TLs public... I missed a few the last time I looked over this and I apologise. So yeah.... Shibatora TLs >_> Area no Kishi is way past this lol.
Hi guys ^^ I'm Kouri, I'm from Hong Kong, I TL with a mix of Chinese -> English and Japanese -> English. What I do is that I get the basic idea of the text via Chinese before cross checking with the Japanese version. I'm slowly weaning myself off the Chinese version, though. :) It's kinda scary how often the Chinese editions have wrong TLs...
I'm incredibly grammar-anal. Except when I shouldn't be.
I mostly translate Giant Killing now. Well, that kind of fell by the wayside but I might do volumes 6+ if people are interested/for fun.
I also do TC/PR and QC although mainly for the script/grammar for the latter.
