Finally got around to finishing my 314 translation... Borrowed a few lines from Iwanin (and bless his soul)...

Title:

Number 314: Akatsuki Strikes...!!

Hey friends! I'm going to be training this guy here again, so cheer us on if you can.

After finishing their hunt the Akatsuki pair is greeted by...

Frame 3, Zetsu (Abnormal-Speech):

It would seem you two are done... And I take it that tediously long ritual is over with as well

Frame 4, Hidan:
Sure, why don't you all just gang up on me... You're all just infidels, completely ignorant of prayer

Frame 5, Zetsu (Normal-Speech):
When you're sad and alone

Frame 5, Zetsu (Abnormal-Speech):
... all you can count on is yourself

Page 3

Frame 1, Kakuzu:

No, you're wrong... The only thing you can count on is money

Frame 2, Hidan:
Oh, there you go again! You realize that it's your little side job that has us running behind schedule, right?

Frame 3, Kakuzu:
Hey, I paired with you because you said that religion would be a good source of money... I have to manage Akatsuki's finances, why don't you try wearing my shoes for a moment

Frame 4, Zetsu (Normal-Speech):
Money is important, for sure

Frame 4, Zetsu (Abnormal-Speech):

Frame 2, Hidan:

Frame 3, Mikka Bouzu:

Those cloaks... They match the rumors...

Frame 3, Shiranu Ga Hotoke:

Frame 7, Kakuzu:
According to our wanted list the reward on his head is high-and-mighty as well, a whole 30 million coin

Frame 1, Hidan:
Hey... You're not looking to make a haul here, are you? Kill a monk for something like that and you burn in hell

Frame 2, Kakuzu:
They say money makes the *underworld* turn as well... Can't say I'd complain

Frame 3, Chiriku:
I know not of your purposes, but return from whence you came!

Frame 4, Hidan:
I guess that means you don't kill without reason... But, you see, *my* religion's reason *is* killing

Frame 5, Kakuzu:
This is the world-renowned shinobi monastery of the Fire Country, "The Temple of Fire"... The monks here all have command of a special power known as "theurgical enlightenment".
(My apologizes to anybody who would actually concern themselves with the finer semantic details of the word "theurgical")

Page 8/9

Frame 1, Kakuzu:
And that guy with the 30 million coin head is particularly dangerous, having once been selected as one of "The Twelve Shinobi Guardsmen", the escorts of the Fire Country daimyo

Frame 2, Hidan:
The Twelve Shinobi Guardsmen? Is he really all that powerful?

Frame 3, Kakuzu:
The insignia of the Fire Country on his waistband is proof of it...

Frame 4, Kakuzu:
If you let your guard down... you're dead

Frame 5, Hidan:

Frame 3, Kakashi:
What is it now?

Frame 3, Naruto:
No, no, it's nothing... It's just that when I think about being able to train with you again...

Frame 4, Naruto:
... don't know why, but I just get all excited and happy

Frame 6, Kakashi:
Well, laugh it up while you have the chance, hahahah

Page 11

Frame 1, Kakashi:
Time isn't waiting up for us, after all

Frame 3, Kakashi:
Just like I said back at the hospital, we're going to be training to have you develop an ultimate ninjutsu to call your own... A jutsu superior to even rasengan

Frame 4, Kakashi:
To do that you'll need to have command of two chakra control techniques, "physical and spatial recomposition"

Frame 5, Naruto:
Physical and spatial... recombatation...?

Frame 6, Kakashi:
Exactaly... Take Chidori... You physically recompose your chakra to resemble electricity, then you spatially recompose it to discharge, thus determining the strength and scope of the attack

Frame 12

Frame 1, Kakashi:
In that sense you could say that, unlike chidori, rasengan is a jutsu relying only on extremely advanced "spatial recomposition"

Frame 2, Kakashi:
Since the jutsu compresses chakra by spinning it at violently high speeds, it doesn't have any need for "physical recomposition"

Frame 3, Naruto:
"Physical reconstitution"... I see, I see

Frame 4, Kakashi:
"Physical recomposition" will be an absolute necessity for you to acquire a jutsu surpassing rasengan

Frame 5, Naruto:
Makes sense to me! Alright, time for "physical recombination"!

Frame 5, Kakashi:
Doesn't seem like he's getting this... but either way he learns with his body, not his head, so I guess it's all the same...

Frame 6, Kakashi:
But acquiring that technique takes an enormous amount of time... I was just about to explain how we're going to greatly reduce that time penalty back at the hospital

Page 13

Frame 1, Naruto:
I see... and so... how're we going to reduce it then?

Frame 2, Kakashi:
Well, there's not much reason to beat around the bush... The method is...

Frame 3, Grave:
火影
Hokage

Frame 5, Asuma:
... I think I'm finally starting to understand what you were talking about

Leaving Konoha behind... Doing whatever I felt like while disregarding others... I'm so sorry...

Frame 2, Asuma:
although I can't say I regret any of it

Frame 4, Asuma:
... Gotta admit I'm feelin' pretty good about bein' born into the Sarutobi clan now

Frame 5, Asuma:
You sure lived up to your role of village elder

Page 15
