Bishamonten/Bishamon is the Japanese name for a Buddhist deity, and one of the 7 Gods of Fortune in Japan. He's a warrior and guardian god.

Page 19, Joushuu no Gensatsushi / 常州の弦殺師
Joushuu is another name for the old Japanese province of Hitachi, now Ibaraki Prefecture. "Gen" is string, "satsu" is kill, "shi" is master.
