Doing some of the translations I missed (starting with the first chapter of Volume 22)

[TN: The previous translations for this title have been "Enlightenment through death" but it's missing important info.
If we were to take the kanji and break them down:
死 Death
捨 Throwing it away/ giving up
悟入 Obtaining enlightenment
So by giving up "death" or not caring if we die, then we can obtain true enlightenment.]

Isn't one of the verbs unneeded? Or it was meant to be like:
