メテオ is Meteor... which makes sense, looking at how the ball falls. The other line sounds more like "There's no way to return that kind of shot."
I think it's important to note that Fuji deliberately stepped back to the baseline since he wasn't there at first. Maybe something like, "Fuji-senpai has retreated all the way to the baseline!?"
This is a line from Niou, "Where are you looking?" or "What are you looking for?"
Sorry for nitpicking. :D Thanks for the translation!
lol yeah, Meteo is Meteor, I kept it as Meteo cause of the final fantasy fan in me lol, I changed it to meteor now due to popular request and people not being able to pull the reference. And I think the other line is from Niou so I left it that way since I think it sounds more taunting and more Niou like lol.
Fuji falling back to the baseline was a good suggestion...when translation I was paying too much attention to the kanji (which I didnt recognize) and not enough to the word it self.....my bad lol.
Aww, I didn't think of it being a line from Niou....no wonder I thought it was a weird line....
and don't worry about nitpicking my translations, I always appreciate people helping them out if they can.
