Rosario to Vampire II 1

Forward: This was actually my very first translation, so it's a little unpolished in terms of formatting, but it should be useable. The page numbering follows the Vol 01 tank, since that was my source material. If you want to use it as a base for some other translation, all I ask is that you send me a message letting me know you're using it, put my name in your credits as "English translation by scrubb", and send me a link to the finished product. Have fun.

Conventions: Names are spelled out the first time, abbreviated thereafter. Sound effects are translated with SFX. Translation notes to the editor (not for publication) are marked with “Ed:” Other TL notes may be published if you want to edit them in.

inside bat: The story so far:
long box: Tsukune Aono (human) accidentally enrolled in the monster-only Youkai* Private Academy! Even though Tsukune ended up staying to befriend the school's number one beauty, Moka Akashiya, at this school, the rule is "Any human discovered here will be killed." \ Tsukune lives life hiding his true form, but the school's public safety commission and "Antithesis", an organization of wayward students, were watching him and causing trouble every day. However, with the help of his friends in the newspaper club, Moka, Kurumu, Yukari, and Mizore, Tsukune is gradually getting stronger. \ After that, his cousin Kyou-chan showed up at Youkai Academy's Open-House and Festival! Even though everyone tried to hide the school's true identity from her, the power of the magic mirror Ririsu (Release) caused all the students to change into their monster form and run amok! Because of this, the campus was heavily damaged and was tempoarily closed. Until the school reopens, Tsukune has had to go back to living in the human world. But then...?! (*TL NOTE: The Youkai in Youkai academy is not the same kanji as Youkai=monster, it's a homonym to cleverly disguise the school's nature.)
Tsukune intro: TSUKUNE AONO \ The only human at Youkai Academy, but nobody except his close friends know this. He is able to remove Moka's rosary, and previously he was injected with too much of her blood, which turned him into a ghoul. He is a member of the newspaper club.
Moka intro: MOKA AKASHIYA \ She is the most beautiful girl at school, and the object of adoration of all the male students. When the rosary on her chest is removed, her inner personality, a super-vampire, manifests and shows her true power. Her favorite food is Tsukune's blood.

Kurumu intro: KURUMU KURUNO \ A cute succubus who enslaves the male students with her outrageous figure. Focusing her attention on Tsukune, she has sparked a love rivalry with Moka.
Yukari intro: YUKARI SENTOU \ A mischevious but loveable witch. She is a genius girl who skipped a few grades and entered Youkai Academy at the age of 12.
Mizore intro: MIZORE SHIRAYUKI \ Tsukune and Moka's classmate. She fell in love with Tsukune from reading his articles in the school newspaper. She is a snow woman who can manipulate water and ice.
Nekonome intro: SHIZUKA NEKONOME \ A teacher at Youkai Academy. She is the homeroom teacher and newspaper club advisor for Tsukune and the others. She REALLY loves fish.
Rubi intro: RUBI TOUJOU \ A proud witch. She was living in the human world, but after an incident there, came to Youkai Academy. She is currently employed by the school's headmaster.
Headmaster intro: TENMEI MIKOGAMI \ The enigmatic headmaster of Youkai Academy. When Tsukune turned into a ghoul, he saved him by putting the Holy Lock on his wrist.
