About serizawa

Short background:
fan translator since as early as 1999 (obviously, no Mangahelpers back then :P). Mainly Rurouni Kenshin stuff. Remember Anipike, guys? :D

worked as fansubber from 2000 to 2002. Subbed even GaoRanger vs Super Sentai! :D

working since 2001 to a manga publisher as a freelancer. Translating shonen titles mainly.


Japanese proficiency:
- Level 1 JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test, JEES/Japan Foundation)
- Level J1+ BJT (Business Japanese Test, JETRO - now run by Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation)


Availability:
Currently, I'm not joining any scanlation groups. Real life is really pressing, so I cannot dedicate myself to scanlation, unfortunately. You can tell that by the number of series that I am translating.

But I do feel honored by the several invitations already made to join their groups, and I wish all the best to them.
